I was just in Walmart. Just got home, in fact.

I am currently in America

Practically everything in the entire store, is Made in China.

People who shop at Walmart that early on a Sunday morning deserve to own Chinese crap. WTF.

The Boeing 787 wings are made in China and shipped to Washington.

...just saying.

No, they’re made in Japan.

I don’t mind flying except in bad weather. I just don’t like being treated like a criminal at the airport security. The best airports are the small ones. I really liked Prescott,Arizona.

And who made the jet engines? Not China.

He’s not Donald. He is President Trump.

Donald is a masculine given name derived from the Gaelic name Dòmhnall.[1] This comes from the Proto-Celtic *Dumno-ualos ("world-ruler" or "world-wielder").

Donald is a fine and fitting name.

I don’t know.

But the video, claimed the jet is “made in China”.

Not sure why, that could not be. Actually.

Everything else is.

The Chinese have not masted (stolen) the technology needed to produce crystal turbofan blades. All the home grown versions are low performance and prone to failure - all high performance engines are imported from Russia.

Duct tape was originally called 400 mph tape. It was developed to patch bullet holes in WWII aircraft, and would hang on at 400 mile per hour.

As a result we could get our aircraft back into the fray faster than the Axis powers.

We won the war. Just sayin’...

There are some well made items, I will admit, but for the most part, it is absolute crap...

That’s entirely up to the American importer. China makes what they are contracted to make - if the importer wants to skate by with cheap crap, then that’s what the Chinese will make for them. If the importer wants super high quality, China can do that now, too.

If the big stores are full of cheap crap it is because that is all their research departments are telling them Americans are willing to pay for.

It’s fine. It’s a special tape that’s used all the time for minor aircraft fixes.

The speaker says "it's pretty much the same as a Western Aircraft". Yeah, right down to the Not Smoking sign in English.

Looks pretty much like a Boeing 727 inside and out.
