Former Navy SEAL hero and Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw verbally backhanded former Obama adviser Ben Rhodes after he seemed to question the Trump administration’s claims that Iran was responsible for attacking two tankers in the Gulf of Oman this week.
Rhodes, who had the title of deputy national security adviser but who’s forte is as a writer and commentator, retweeted a video clip of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in which he discusses U.S. Navy video showing Iranian involvement in the attacks, with this comment: “This definitely feels like the kind of incident where you’d want an international investigation to establish what happened. Huge risk of escalation.”

What should give us pause is that Benny Rhodes seems to indicate real confidence in an *international* investigation.
(This means we still have enemies out there, who parade as allies, but only to the US Left.)
Does dear Rhodes mean our allies, 5 Eyes, who were all-in with Hillary to sabotage the Trump campaign and continued against him as POTUS?
Does Rhodes mean the United Nations, who are pack of anti-Israel and likewise, Israel-ally haters?
Do tell, Rhodsie, which is it? Who exactly do you name for your version of “International” Investigative geniuses that are so much more competent than the US Intel, under Trump?
This would be parallel to the border security issue. We learned recently that lots of speeches and other documents were deleted from ICE files in the 48 hours before Obama left office. During the summer of 2016 Obama was essentially encouraging Central American minors to cross into the US illegally. Deleting the documents makes it easier for the media in their efforts to use the immigration question as a weapon against Trump.
I have an acquaintance running as a Democrat against Dan Crenshaw. She’s a Navy veteran (LT) as well, but couldn’t be more opposite in every possible way. I’m sort of embarrassed to know her, and even more embarrassed she’s a fellow Navy vet (as I was a lowly CTT3).
With that smirk … I instantly dislike her.

I told her that while I appreciate her enthusiasm, I am unable to vote in TX-2 since I don’t live in that district.
I didn’t have the heart to break her heart by telling her I’d vote for Dan Crenshaw if I could.
