The US simply cant take all the people who want leave Central America,Africa and the Middle East. We arent taking care of our own citizens. The U.N. should set up safe haven camps in Central America. We cant solve every shit holes problems. We tried and failed elsewhere. Eventually we will need to use force to stop this invasion.

“Most of those outside the refugee office say they are fleeing danger back home.........”
Danger, drugs, gangs are reported to be a big part of the root cause of why so many are leaving their countries and heading for the USA. I don’t recall seeing stories about how these are being addressed. If the governments of countries such as El Salvador, Honduras, & Guatemala cannot deal with their humanitarian crises, why is the United Nations not called in restore civility and safety? Isn’t that what the UN is for?

But Mexico's refugee commission is already overwhelmed: There are only 48 staff members in the entire country . . .Who is stopping them from hiring more?

Don’t be silly if they clean up the problems in these countries there will be no excuse for half their populations to come here and take over the United States. Furthermore No one is going to interfere with the cartels preferred method of sending their drugs North.

Maybe we should help Mexico hire a few more immigration officials by diverting a portion of the monies going to sanctuary cities.

Hard to feel ‘sorry’ for Mexico IF they - as was reported - had any part in transporting ‘refugees’ North.
PDJT is being too soft on them.
If Ford etal don’t like the tarrifs, am sure plenty of room in US for your factories, maybe even give you a chance to dump your unions also.

As long as these people stay in Mexico, I could care less how many officials they have to handle this situation.
When they get as sick of it as we are, they’ll do something about it.
I do understand why you said what you did.

They’re not going to and we’re not going to stop them. People voted for immigration reform, a wall, whatever but we’re not getting anything.
