You think infrastructure means fixing your problems. No! It means gravy to the DeLoittes of the swamp.

I continue to think people just don’t like rubbing elbows with the great unwashed, so if they can afford it they drive. And a multicultural selection of regular transit users I’ve talked to here say that rider issues have increased in the last couple years, that the system isn’t policing quality of ride problems.

What I need is cheaper Diesel, more non-alcoholic gas and a better selection of turbo, manual transmission AWD vehicles.

"Although demand for transit solutions is increasing nationwide,..."

Sure! "Demand" from consulting firms, government socialists, environmental communists, and, most importantly, criminal enterprises wishing to extend their reach further into America...

Gravy is right, and we’re served up as the shit on the shingle.

“Roads, water treatment systems, and power lines all contribute to a smoothly functioning economy.”

In my 3rd volume I almost exclusively dial into drinking water. To anyone with an open mind, it is a case study on the decline of American society. Most of us know the condition of our roads. Power lines? That’s a whole other discussion.

There is an ongoing debate about public water vs privatized water. I don’t know for sure what the solution is for our problems, but it is clear to me that bureaucracy either sucks us dry or poisons the water.

Those 2 options alone are untenable...

I’m sure “cash for clunkers” had nothing to do with getting more people on the roads.

For those who use transit in a handful of cities, City Mapper is an outstanding free app. I’ve put in on my watch so I always know when the next ferry is leaving.

New York is way ahead of this - they are going to give out free driver’s licenses to the public transit constituency. Soon to be followed by free cars, I expect.
