White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will leave the job at the end of the month, President Donald Trump said Thursday.

In a pair of tweets, the president said Sanders will return to her home state of Arkansas. He thanked her for a “job well done.”

“I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas - she would be fantastic!” Trump tweeted.

Yep , I like Levin but he would probably have a meltdown in that position. It would be easy peasy for a liberal president but under Trump it would be worse than combat

The more I think about Diamond and Silk as a replacement for Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the better I like the idea. They double team and have quirky answers and responses to the media fake news people. Those media persons who think the heighth of cleverness is a gotcha question would be tying themselves into pretzel shapes trying to figure how to outsmart the pro Trump ladies. They would also get a very large audience tuning in to watch the hapless fake news persons being shown for the leftist puppets they are. I vote for Diamond and Silk as an appropriate choice for the press secretary position.

Sarah has done great! I doubt anyone could do better. Sure hate to see her leave.

Thank you, Sarah, for the excellent work you have done for President Trump and this nation!

Watching the clip on Fox tonight choked me up.
She appeared emotional as POTUS was announcing her departure.
'She done good'; made her parents proud.

Hope she's not shut the door permanently.
The jousting match between her and the antagonists were always entertaining.

Diamond and Silk would be great. They would be attacked but not outsmarted. The first reporter who attacks them would probably also be the last.

I would so live to see Bongino doing press conferences.

Another thought I had: Kimberly Guilfoyle. I don’t know if she and Junior are still an item. (Haven’t seen her around lately.). And. If they are maybe that relationship would present a problem. She could be OK as Press Secretary.

If Guilfoyle is dating Jr I don’t think she should work for Trump in a federal employee position.

Levin has his virtues. He’s got back some of the sense he lost 3 years ago, but I think your counsel is wise.

Where his career was headed? Lol that’s laughable considering he signed a 10 year multi million dollar contract, his combined ratings via his show and Podcasts are up near the top of all radio hosts and combine that with a Levin TV he is far from ever tanking in his career. So, you are dead wrong on that account.

The fact that we are still yapping and carping about a General well over 3 years ago speaks volumes about individuals who cannot get past it. Mark is a strong supporter. Mark has forgotten more Constitutional knowledge than any on this site will know. Mark was single handedly responsible for pointing out that Trump had been spied on. I listened to the actual broadcast as it happened and he was the very first to call it.

Mark isn’t what he like to call a clapping seal or a Pom Pom dancer. That’s not why we listen to him. We learn from him. He gives Trump the greatest of praise when he does something right. What folks don’t like is when he calls him out when he and everyone else knows he has it dead wrong. I remember once upon a time when conservatives held their own accountable for missteps. But that was long before the American Idol culture we have today.

If democrats like Bobby Kennedy and Hillary Clinton can be carpet baggers, why can’t Republicans?

Is carpetbagging a good thing?

“That’s what I think, she is joining the 2020 campaign.”
*

She will continue in GOP endeavors. But, I think her desire to be with her kids along with burn-out from dealing with th idiotic White House pool reporters is legitimate. She’s still young. So, she has time to raise kids for awhile and engage in occasional activities to keep name recognition alive and then get back into the game.

Does anybody think this means it’s all about to hit the fan? I mean really really about to hit the fan and they need to bring somebody in with some legal experience to keep the press in their place. Maybe to kind of explain things to the press.

I love her! She was excellent at the job but who can blame her. The hours, the crap she had to put up with from the POS MSM.
