As a result of what the Trump supporters have attempted here, particularly Roger Stone, I am not voting for Donald Trump. Period. … So, count me as never Trump. There’s been too much of this folks, way too much of this. The crap in the National Enquirer against Ted Cruz, the attacks on Michelle Fields, I mean, I can go right through the list, too much, too much, too much. At some point, you’ve got to stand up to it.

It’s heart warming to remember how Mark defended Michelle Fields back then. A real man of principle. It’s also heart warming to see how he decided at the time not to support Trump because some of his followers made him angry. What a man of principle. You’re right. He’s not a clapping seal. He’s a yapping dog who became a never trumper for most of the campaign season because the guy he wrongly backed, lost, and because Roger Stone made him angry. What a loser.
Here’s another beauty from September 2016 where he attacked his buddy Hannity for calling out Never Trumpers. This, at a time when we were in the general election and the choice was either Hillary or Trump.

Then Mark spent the rest of the campaign season trying to straddle the fence, unlike he did with Romney back in 2012. He made sure to pepper his shows with beauties like “Folks, I think we may have picked the wrong guy to take out Hillary”. No clapping seal, just a pouting loser trying to set himself up for the “I told you so” moment once Trump lost. Now he touts himself as Trump’s great defender - the Great One.. Give me a break. Maybe you have amnesia, but I don’t.
And by the way, I’m not criticizing Levin for disagreeing with Trump from time to time. There are even a few times I disagree with Trump. But on the big things, I support him. When you continue to attack Trump in the two months leading up to the general election, you’re not being an ‘independent thinker’, you’re dampening voter enthusiasm for the one guy who was running against Hillary - the guy you’re claiming to support. The general election is the time to get behind your candidate, not for ‘independent thinking’. Mark under stood that in 2012. He didn’t in 2016. Ego got in the way.
Also, I’ll take your word that Mark was the first to report on Trump being spied on. Maybe he was, but he wasn’t the first to know about it. Trump knew all along. He knew as early as the transition when he moved his headquarters from Trump Tower after being tipped off by Admiral Rogers, and most likely knew before that. So Mark may have broken it publicly, but it was known by Trump and Trump undoubtedly had plans to combat it. He didn’t need Mark’s help.
If we went from what anyone said during primaries as our basis of liking or disliking someone we’d all be perpetually butt sore. That goes from eventual supporters of Nixon, to Reagan, to Bush I and II, to Trump. The primaries ended almost FOUR YEARS AGO. You’ll never support anyone if the marker to beat is primaries from years past.
Based on Trump’s past he had every reason in the world to oppose him. Not until he proved himself a conservative candidate was it ok to place support behind him. You act like Trump had a majestically gifted Conservative past beyond reproach. Words alone don’t get the job done. How many times have we been burnt based on mere words during a primary only to be bent over for years to come. This is the natural progression of supporting a candidate otherwise you’ve made it about the person vs. the position ala hero worship. He has proven himself to be a wonderful president.
Maybe that Wheeler Babe from OAN may have a shot at it. She strikes me as a no prisoners type. She is easy on the eyes.

Nice lady with a lot of courage. Not very good at framing and driving a winning message. Most of the time I saw her she was in responsive mode, trying to deflect the incoming fire, not hurling powerful, memorable MAGA talking points that framed the debate.
I keep wondering what idiot on Trump’s staff suggested that setup with George Steph. Terrible terrible idea.

I’m going to apply for the job. It’s a dream position, you get to explain reality to jerks who otherwise would never hear any mention of it. And they have to listen and broadcast your remarks to their otherwise brain-damaged audiences.
Perfect. And you get paid for it. So it will be just like blogging on the internet only with a salary.
Will she be replaced? There are no more regular press conferences because of the nonstop media attacks. The position seems to have outlived it’s usefulness.
They should just put up a giant poster of a middle finger behind the podium.
