Government employees don’t have right to free speech or am I missing something ?
The Hatch Act prevents government EMPLOYEES from doung political activities while on the clock or government property, or using government property, i.e. telephones, FAX machines or other office machines.
In ‘92 I worked on a Navy Base. A civilian employee was fired for campaigning for Ross Perot outside the gate as people arrived or left the base..............
Not in their official capacity. But the law should be applied evenly. Every government employee who has disparaged Trump should be fired.
Valarie Plame was using her position in the CIA to throw stink bombs against the Bush Administration. Who remembers how she was made into some sort of victim?

Their free speech is limited when they are “on the clock” and speaking, writing, etc. in an official government capacity.
Their free speech is extremely limited when it comes to lobbying Congress.
