Washington (CNN)The Department of Justice informed the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday that President Donald Trump has asserted executive privilege over materials related to the addition of a citizenship question to the 2020 census. The move comes ahead of a vote in the committee about whether to hold Attorney General William Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in contempt of Congress over a dispute related to the census and for not complying with subpoenas issued by the committee.

All this crap by the House is designed to throw off Barr and the other IG from indicting the real criminals, the communists Democrat filth. And it is working. No real Grand Jury work on the criminals.

I sincerely doubt you know more than I or anyone else here as to hat is going on regarding Barr. I would think Barr has a large enough staff to handle nucense chgs/complaints from the libs and take care of his investigations as well.
To: Logical me
Why don’t you tell us your source for your assertion? The fact is, you are a keyboard warrior who is privy to nothing about Trump or AG Barr.

Tell you one thing everyone here knows about: It’s almost 3 years into the Trump administration and not a single member of the Democrat crime family has been indicted.
To: Boogieman
And no one ever will......Trump will run out this term without anything being done, and if re-elected, the brakes will be put on for another 4 years.
The problem is that the next time this is tried, they will be better trained to do it and screw us all
To: Logical me
I would bet that in the two months preceding Barr telling the Congress critters about his investigation, Durham already did the heavy lifting before the grand jury. And he’s continuing to do it, while Barr acts as a lightning rod to give him cover. These people are battling the tide, and it’s against them.

Hello, sir. I’m here for the 2020 US Census. How many people live here?
- 6
Thank you. And, are they all US citizens?
- No. One is not a citizen.
Thank you Mr. Obama. Have a nice day.

Cummings had to delay the vote on contempt. LOLThere are at least 2 "contempt" movements. HR 430 (passed in the House on a party line vote) is about "civil contempt" and I don't know if they even brought up a "Contempt of Congress" bill/resolution. Both have the same goal.

There is a difference between civil contempt and criminal contempt. One takes approval by a court, the other takes the DOJ making a complaint.

They said civil contempt is faster than criminal. They are desperate to report “progress” to the media and in fundraiser letters.
