Sorta like “TSA meets #Metoo”. Of course, all we have is one side of the story. If I’m not mistaken, most TSA inspectors are contractors and unionized so if there is guilt, it will be the contracting agency that will pay the cost yet the unionized inspector may not get fired, merely placed on “probation”.
I’m guessing the inspectors will claim they thought they had found a drug mule and the feminine hygiene product appeared to them like a hiding place for drugs.
Unfortunately, that’s plausible.
Especially if her irritation made her seem nervous, as if she might be hiding something.
