A Texas prosecutor said Friday that investigators have linked more than 60 killings in at least 14 states to a 79-year-old California inmate who may be the most prolific serial killer in U.S. history.
Ector County District Attorney Bobby Bland said Samuel Little continues to cooperate with investigators from around the country who interrogate him in prison about cold case killings dating back to the 1970s. Among those who spoke to him were investigators from Ohio, where Little grew up and where he’s suspected of killing at least five women.
Little was convicted of killing three Los Angeles-area women and pleaded guilty to killing a Texas woman, and he’s serving life sentences in California. Little, who lived a nomadic lifestyle, claims to have killed 93 women as he crisscrossed the country over the years.
Bland said Little is in failing health and has exhausted his appeals, leading him to be forthcoming with investigators.
“At this point in his life I think he’s determined to make sure that his victims are found,” he said.

One of the reasons for this is that serial killers usually kill people to whom they have easy access and who won’t be missed - such as prostitutes, for example. Black killers most often would kill other black people, usually women, and it is a horrible thing to say, but I don’t think violent deaths or disappearances in the black community were taken that seriously or investigated by law enforcement years ago. So nobody ever tied together a pattern, because nobody ever usually followed up in any depth. Fortunately, that has changed, and I think you’ll have more identifications of black serial killers who carried out their murders in the black community.
There are exceptions, of course, like the African illegal immigrant now suspected of killing as many as 1,000 mostly white, elderly women across the US. But again, he had access to them, since he had apparently been employed as an aide in various residences for the elderly.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. This puts the lie to the "only white guys are serial killers"; along with the black guy in Atlanta who was killing all those little boys.
At one time Juan Corona was thought to be the worst ever. I think his were mostly or maybe all, other migrant workers. He also used a machete.
Some think Ted Bundy killed a lot more than he is credited with.
Maybe there will also be more identifications of abortion murders in the black community. Gosnell comes to mind.
Too true. And remember that one of the main objectives of Margaret Sanger was the extermination of “inferior” peoples - blacks, Italians and other Southern Europeans, the Irish (and all Catholics), etc.
He I serving life in California. Let Texas try him for the murders in their jurisdiction and send him to his righteous resting place in hell a little sooner than life.
