Well, now it looks like we have a gay flag controversy, something Democrats are sure to make a 2020 campaign issue with the press ignorantly reporting that the whole thing is being done to be mean.

The flag above the embassy is to represent AMERICANS, not just the homosexuals.
Why is this hard?
Don't blurt that out loud next to a homo in a public restroom! Seriously though, I AM truly offended these sinners have taken the symbol of God's covenant with mankind and hijacked it. Just as disappointed with the citizenry going along with that - but religion, civics and education itself has been falling off for decades.
Hence I'd like to know if there is some kind of ownership, trademark or something regarding the rainbow flag. If not, can it be legally claimed in a way to cost the perverts for every flag, print and illustration of it. Preferably for the benefit of Free Republic or another worthy effort.
Because success is always the best revenge...and it beats savagery.
The rainbow God set in the clouds for Noah was curved.
We haven’t forgotten what it means.
We just forget to tell other people, gently & often enough.
The rainbow flag, OTOH, stands for kinky sex. Each colored stripe (they say) stands for a different sexual practice or perversion.
The US Constitution tells us our right to express our faith, including by displaying religious symbols such as the rainbow, may not be prohibited.
The Supreme Court has also told us that burning a flag is a form of political speech, protected by the First Anendment.
Therefore I conclude we may, if so inclined, act accordibgly.
One of my favorites.
Funny how the rebels of the 60s & 70s have now become so un-PC.
Because Fagg Flagg uber alles.
I remember reading during Obama administration about one of our embassies holding a transgender soiree, and the host country (somewhere in Africa— I dont recall specifics) raised hell about it, saying our Anerican hedonism was not compatible with their traditions, and calling our promotion of the LGBT agenda “cultural colonialism.”
Google & read up on “Yogyakarta Principles” which the Obama admin was trying to get adopted —but stalled— in the United Nations.
I think 20 years ago most government offices didn’t kowtow to every fringe group like the gays and bend over backwards to placate them.
You’re right. It appears to me that since Obama was elected that shift has been real noticeable. And also more and more commercials show women with kids and no man around.
