I now get a screen block and am unable to read the articles at the NYTimes and WashPost. Clearing cookies doesn't help. Looks like an effort on their part to force me to register?
Yes I know I can get a throw away google email account, but are there other ways? Use to have BUGMENOT log ins but that doesn't seem to work either.
(Excerpt) Read more at nytimes.com ...
I just google the info from a different source.
Why would you want to infect your brain with anything from those journalistic landfills?
opposition research.
outline.com is the solution for me. You need the URL for the article.
I right click the URL here on FR then click save link address, start outline.com and paste the URL there.
NOTE: The WSJ is the only paywall I’ve found that doesn’t work with this method.
They are about as far-Left, fake news as you can get.
They're making it impossible for you to read their anti-Trump screeds and you're going out of your way to override that?
Look at it as self-censorship. I've never read either one them and can't see how my life is diminished one bit in doing so.
Just count your blessings you can't read them.
Outline.com looks interesting, thanks.
When doing OR you shouldnt have to pay for it since it is crap anyway.
Are you able to get outline to work? I get:
“We’re sorry, but this URL is not supported by Outline”
It worked at a website I went to, (not the NYT or WaPo).
Why is this in News/Activism?
To trigger you.
the Slimes loaded for me no problem...
How can I make my browser do that? I hate it when I accidentally hit a link to wither of those two cesspools. I much prefer to read the synopsis and comments here with some excerpt than to give them clicks.
You should not even go to the WP for any reason. They are pure garbage. Nothing but lies and propaganda.
Did you click on an article? The front page loads, but I can’t read the articles.
I asked a question, and you consider that being “triggered”?
Man, you need some real excitement in your life.
I suggest posting anti-Q stuff in the Qanon thread. That’ll grow you a hide right quick.
I just used it on the Boston Heralds new paywall and it worked great...only problem is my favorite feature the comment section is gone.
But you don’t have to go to those cesspools for that. Just get the truth, then invert it to its complete opposite. Presto! You have any day’s edition of the Times or the Post.
firefox with the NoScript addon is useful. it works best for me in “whitelist” mode, i.e., i set it with “Allow scripts globally” checked and then block individual javascript sources as needed ...
