BTW, the BLS reports there are now more help wanted openings than there are unemployed people. As Rush says, that’s literal “full employment” meaning if somebody can’t get a job, the problem is the individual, not the society.
Understood. Though I don’t think it would require force. Either way, you’ve identified just how serious the problem may be for at least done Excons. If they can’t fibd jobs or shelter, we can’t expect anything other than they will return to crime. To survive. Realistically, we need to help them get into an honest life path. Or we are helping manufacture a lot of crime that we as a society really don’t need. And extra tragedies —-for no positive reason or purpose at all. Imho.

I agree on the first part of your comment, and education definitely doesn’t equal intelligence, but you’re not going to be chief of a big city police department without the proper credentials. I won’t comment on the quality of her education.
