You have come up with a cheaper breakfast than having food delivered and cooking it yourself... YOU totally win this one... Now if you eat other meals at home I’m still in the game...

My female counterpart is afraid to leave the US. I went all over western Europe in my youth. Now in my retirement I would like to see eastern Europe and Asia. Not sure if that will happen.

My father in law was the ant. His brother was the grasshopper. They both set a great example for my kids.
The grasshopper’s life didn’t end well and they saw it up close.

It says whole chicken legs. The drum stick and the thigh. So it does. But it brings back reflections of my (old guy) childhood.
At the dinner table I wasn't fast enough or impolite enough to grab a "whole chicken leg". It was either a drumstick or the backbone or whatever else was left after the elders had grabbed that which was theirs. My, how the times have changed. Now that I am an "elder" I pretty much get to choose what I want.
Chicken leg or breast, IMHO, it's all good if it's BBQed.

I think every family has its ants and grasshoppers. I know ours does.
This is where that whole, Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness comes in.
Your Mileage May Vary.
Choose Wisely.

When I went back the first time 15 years ago I told myself I would eat anything given me to eat at least once. Most of it is what I think of as the ;best food in the world. I cannot handle duck eggs, though. That first time when it was coming up time to go home three families had goodbye dinners for me and all had splurged a then huge sum for trứng ga. I ate them and did not show discomfort. Next time back I made sure everyone knew that duck eggs were not something I could do. It is not that the thought of half formed ducklets in shells horrified me, I just really don't like them. I did eat geckos and birds and other things Americans will not normally countenance and it was all good. But no more duck eggs, even with nước mắm.

In Asia the chicken feet are revered by the old folks, so much so that they make up stories to keep little kids paws off them.. “oh if you eat them, your hands will shake like grandpas” LOL
They are ok fresh hot, otherwise they an gelatinous glug, tasty glug, but glug.
