“I’m ashamed of my country for what it has done. It’s torn people apart … I am sick to death of politicians, especially British politicians.

England’s elites have always been a nation unto themselves as alien and foreign to the English people as any foreigner. Its been the same since the Norman Conquest. They don’t identify with us, they identify with their fellow wealthy elitists in other countries.
David Goodheart summed it up by saying that people like Elton were ‘anywheres’, who do not identify with their country or locality, vs the ‘somewheres’ the ordinary working classes who care about and identify with their country and local communities, which have been ravaged by the globalist, pro-EU policies over the past few decades that have seen them turned into multicultural hellholes and been reduced to disposable workers liable to see their workplace disappear to another part of Europe or the world the moment it is deemed profitable to do so.
