Gorka: GOP leaders in Senate ‘betraying’ POTUS Trump — again — over Mexican tariffs
The National Sentinel ^ | 6/5/19 | Jon Dougherty

Former presidential adviser Dr. Sebastian Gorka blasted Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and other “RINO” members of the Senate GOP caucus for opposing POTUS Donald Trump’s decision to levy an escalating tariff regime on Mexico for failing to do more to interdict illegal aliens enroute to the United States.

On Tuesday, McConnell told reporters in a classic understatement, “There is not much support in my conference for tariffs, that’s for sure,” when discussing the president’s plan to impose a 5 percent tariff on Mexican imports beginning June 10, then steadily raising them throughout the remainder of this year until they reach 25 percent.

Let hope it will become painfully clear to these senate rinos that if they fight Trump on this there will be pain.

Given that the Mexican gov’t has admitted that 80% of its populated territory is run by cartels, Trump has the authority to declare a national emergency and totally seal the border.

There are many things that need to happen which are not happening. President Trump must threaten to ask voters NOT to vote for any Senator who undercuts him in the Mexico negotiations.

And we must repatriate At least 10 million illegal immigrants in order to reverse the flow. Without steps like that you are not going to see illegal immigration stopped.

I hate articles that don’t name and shame....only McTurtle and cRuz are mentioned, as the betrayers.

Lets see the entire list of anti-American/COC supported RINOs opposing POTUS, on Mexico tariffs.

They don’t care if 99% of America hates them, as long as their little constituenties keep voting them back in.

Calling them GOP is a misnomer.
They’re UniParty hacks.
As I posted on another thread: of all the great things POTUS has done so far, revealing the members of the GOPe arm of the UniParty has been a boon. They’ve been operating in “stealth mode” for far too long. Now, they’re all out in the open for the great “unwashed masses” to see just what these evil, spineless SOBs are really like. They all need to be primaried out. That’s why I NEVER donate to the party, but always to specific candidates.

Idiots in the Senate pretend these MX tariffs would go on for years and be ruinous to the U.S.

WRONG!

They are a HAMMER to get MX to ACT in U.S. interests.

The HAMMER gets results in 2 or 3 whacks and the tariffs are over before August.

SO......the Senate needs to grow a spine and support Trump....NOW!!!!!

The GOPe don’t fear the GOP base. Until they do nothing will change. That it is why it is imperative conservatives hold the line in support of POTUS on things like trade and immigration. This “you must vote GOP for judges” browbeating regardless of everything else needs to end. These corportist Republicans take our votes for granted while they stuff their pockets with lobbyist millions.

I don’t think the GOP donors want cheap labor anymore. These employers are doing everything they can to automate as many processes as possible to eliminate the need for low-skill labor.

What these donors really want is more CUSTOMERS.

I don’t know why Gorka is complaining. The GOP has been pushing for open borders for years.

Among Republicans, it’s TRUMP who is the outlier, not these corrupt hacks in the U.S. Senate.

They are actually captives of the US Chamber of Commerce and the millions they spend to maintain cheap labor in this country. I’ve started my own personal boycott of known C of C members in my community.
