For New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, the announcement merited a “BREAKING” tag in a barrage of Facebook ads. Former Housing and Urban Development secretary Julian Castro called it “astounding.” Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, who's 68, gave it no less than two siren emojis in a Facebook post.
The news? The Democratic National Committee announced its plan last week to cull the unruly field of 24 candidates for president by setting a 130,000 donor threshold to qualify for its third and fourth debates this fall. That move set off a scramble for cash on Facebook, inundating voters with fundraising appeals and blowing up ad prices.

If Trump wins 49 states next year I will be so happy. Problem is with illegal aliens, california will have enough for the popular vote all by itself.
Based on the article these campaigns are spending upwards of $50 dollars for each $1 raised.
Conservatives need to give every Democrat candidate $1 so they all reach the donor threshold. For $20-30 we can have a very entertaining dumpster fire of a debate. It will be like watching a clown car as they try managing that many candidates.

They need to recruit Bev Harris to hustle for money: “We’re only $5 away...”
If you give the $1, you will be in their mailing list and even worse, their phone call list for about 20 calls per week.

And you can’t get rid of them unless you change your phone number and then they will hunt you down, find your new number and still call you. Just yesterday I had three different Dem fundraiser calls. Yelling at them, pleading with them, telling them it is a business number, wrong number... Registered Republican... nothing works to get them to stop calling.

I think the popular vote is something the Republicans should include in their discussions this year. I think if republicans at times do not vote in NY IL CA then they need to vote this round, even if he does not take the state it will add to the natl popular vote count - it would be great for President Trump to win the popular vote also.
