Over a year ago, I asked in this space whether U.S. attorney John Huber could impartially and fully investigate FISA court abuses and other matters in which his boss, Deputy A.G. Rod Rosenstein, was up to his eyeballs. In "Can Huber Investigate His Boss Rosenstein?," I asked:

Maybe it was Uranium One, which has a Nexus with Utah. Conceivably, it might also be abuse of classified information (unmasking, or email server), as NSA has big data facilities in Utah.
Here is what AG Barr said in the interview: “The other issues he’s been working on relate to Hillary Clinton. Those are winding down and hopefully we’ll be in a position to bring those to fruition.”
Kind of leaves the door open to many possible scandals/crimes on her part - “hopefully we’ll be in a position to bring those to fruition.”

Huber wasn’t asked to Investigate, He was asked to Cover Up.
Then the logic falls in place.

That is to say, is he just a careerist who does what he is told?
Sessions is a "disgrace". Just ask Trump, in March of 2018, when Session didn't turn the FISA abuses investigation over to US Attorneys.

I was hoping that was the case too, until I read in the article above that Huber was not receptive to people who wanted to provide information on the shenanigans at the Clinton Foundation.
Squaring that information with “his work being nearly complete” is difficult, unless his “work” was to do nothing. The fact that Barr has taken responsibility for the FISA mess away from Huber also doesn’t speak well of his efforts thus far.
Same guy who lost evidence sent to him 3 or 4 times?
Huber like Sessions are tits on a bull.
