These shocking pictures from downtown Los Angeles capture the growing problem it faces with trash and rodents in a desperate city also trying to contain a typhoid fever outbreak linked to worsening sanitary conditions. A decision to not cap the total amount of property that homeless people can keep on Skid Row was announced last Wednesday and it sparked fury among some officials who say it will 'only perpetuate the public health crisis that already exists' there. That, coupled with the news a Los Angeles police detective has been diagnosed with typhoid fever, has sparked concern among LA's residents. The city has now said it will dispose of sofas, refrigerators and other large items in the 50-block area of downtown.

These are TYPICAL pics of DEMOCRAT RUN CITIES!!
Looks a bit like Mexico City. I wonder why that is?
Trash being a euphemism for liberals.
More like Tiajuana.
Quite the head scratcher.
Odd how when The Powers That Shouldn't Be want to force everyone into mega cities that the potential for epidemics in cities is rising.
Looks like a lot of the trash is household trash.
Home owners to cheap to pay to have it removed.
I don’t think the appliances were carried there by the homeless.
Even in the country it is amazing what scum bags throw away out in the woods.
Because they are to dam cheap to pay for disposal.
Ping
But I have been to Calcutta...so I think I have an idea what LA might be about.
L.A. needs some serious help. Sanctuary city I’m assuming...
I am angry seeing how the democrats are using these people for their own purposes. They just want to move their agenda forward no matter what!
Sooner or later nature is going to deal with California’s far leftist policies. I wonder how they will deal with a real outbreak of something like the black death?
What's worse is the people who keep electing them. They can see what's happened to their cities and likely have friends or family members who were murdered in these cities, yet they still vote for the Democrat/socialist promise of free stuff.
There are areas of Memphis like this. About 12 years ago I was having tires put on a truck. The business was next to RR tracks. Just on the other side of the tracks was a 6 story building that was section 8 housing. Between the tracks and the building was a pile of trash at least 3 feet high. The people were throwing their trash off their balconies. Looked like it had been going on for years.
The guy I worked for loved his city but just couldn’t bring himself to blame the democrats for what had happened to Memphis.
Piles of trash are also a problem in Houston. Local TV did a story then shut up. You’ll notice this story was from a foreign source.
“A lawsuit claimed that tents, clothes, medication and other essentials were improperly being seized. A judge barred seizures unless the property is illegal, abandoned or threatens public safety.”
There you have it.
Just got back from a week in Portland and it was shocking. Trash, filth, and zombified human beings everywhere. It’s impossible to be a sentient person and not let it get to you.
Cities like this are doomed because the rot is coming from the inside. I’ve come to that conclusion after finishing up a DVD collection of the old Crusade in Europe documentary. Towards the end you see the people of Germany climb out of their bomb shelters and start rebuilding the country. In ten years their Economic Miracle takes place.
Well, I doubt that’s gonna happen here. When the people in command want failure it’s impossible to end up with anything else.
I find myself almost wishing I was living in Berlin and it’s 1945. Better that than some blue American city in 2019.
In Houston?!?!
Charlotte NC is a dump in some places.
It used to be a fairly clean place.
I know a few dem lemmings that would almost hang themselves before admitting their own party leadership is wrong.
