Barack Obama asserted that the United States was founded on inequality, despite the Constitution enshrining equality into the law.
Obama said: You know Brazil just thinks the United States was founded on inequality and we have to admit that even though the United States has a Constitution that says, We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, At that time not only were blacks excluded, but women were excluded, and people who didnt own property were excluded.
Obama commented on his understanding of the founding of the United States during the VTEXDAY 2019 conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Wednesday.
Obama said that the Constitution gave America the means of inclusion through Democracy.
The more people we included, the more successful we became, he said.
Obama used a basketball analogy to illustrate his point, pointing out that the NBA was better than ever by including more international players like Giannis Antetokounmpo, a Nigerian from Greece who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Now hes one of the best players in the world, Obama said, pointing out that if the NBA did not include international players, they were leaving talent on the field.
If you dont include women, you are leaving talent on the field, Obama said, saying it was in every countrys interest to include everyone.
He admitted that perfect equality was difficult to achieve, because of natural talent and work ethic.
The issue is not perfect equality, the issue is, are those of us who are successful willing to give back enough to provide a ladder of opportunity for others that are coming behind us, he said.

Barack Obama and others fail to mention that people in the north were against slavery and ultimately were responsible for the emancipation of slaves. He and others make is sound like all the people were for slavery and that is not so. It was only our southern brothers who didn’t want to do their own farm work who imported slaves and tried to keep it going who were responsible for the Civil War. I object to the way Obama and others besmirch people in the north for something they did not do. That is vile to not give credit to people in the north who opposed slavery.
What does any of this have to do with the fact that this country hasn’t always lived up to its claims of justice for all? I know there are much worse, but that doesn’t excuse some of what this country did.
The sooner, the better.

Obama’s analogy points to the need for screening immigrants based on their skills.

The ratio of imprisoned men to imprisoned women
clearly indicates a sexist judicial system. We
must either convict fewer men or more women.
The only rights the Constitution guarantees is equal rights under the law. To Obama and the other socialists, this is reinterpreted as equal rights to have what everyone else has. The Left is very good at redefining things as long as conservatives don’t interrupt and explain what they really mean.

That’s the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.
DemocRats also blocked the 19th Amendment for 15 years.
Monarchs always had more rights than the people the reigned over.
Conquerors always enslaved the people they conquered.
Tribes always had caste systems.

The Declaration states, We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness .
Obama is full of it and displays his abysmal ignorance of our countrys founding.
