Daredevils looking to get a mesmerizing view over Paris could have the lucky chance to take a zip line off of the second floor of the Eiffel Tower.
Perrier is back with its popular attraction, Smash Perrier, inviting people to whizz from the monumental tower to the 18thcentury École Militaire, this June.
The attraction is opening to align with both the French Open, which takes place through June 9, and the 130th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower this year, inviting lucky winners to take a ride at speeds of 90 km (about 56 miles per hour).
The zip line, which mimics the speed a tennis ball can have after a powerful serve, gives riders a view of the city at a height of over 377 feet.
Take a look at the video to see what the thrilling ride is like:

Notre Dame, not Paris, is burning. Has burned.
You're building a bulletproof barrier around the Eiffel Tower. For what if not to protect the tourists.
And now you're putting said tourists in a position similar to the ducks at a county fair arcade, shooting booth.
My advice, skip the zip line, skip the Ecole Militaire, grab a cab or walk to Les Invalides a click further. Nice museum, and Napolean's grave.

The second level? If theyre not zip lining from the top of the tower, theyre not even trying. The resulting insane speed would also give the county fair ducks at least a fighting chance.
Send someone to the top and put a GoPro on ‘em. Close enough for me.
Second level will take, what, 2.3 seconds?
Well, it is France?
A powerful tennis serve is more like 140 mph.
I suppose you could slow it down, but that was my first thought, just to keep the finale within security. Straight down. Like an amusement park. Or one of those drop down rides. Don’t know the names of these things, I don’t go on them.
No thanks.
“The zip line, which mimics the speed a tennis ball can have after a powerful serve, “
Author makes a stupid false statement.
I just had to look it up!
WOW!
Samuel Groth of Australia achieved a World Record of the fastest serve ever in tennis history with a service speed of 163.7 mph (263.4 kph) at the Busan Open 2012
What could possibly go wrong?
Next up. BASE jumping from the Eiffel Tower.
Nope. Gravity seems to pull harder on me than on most folks. Wouldn’t do it.
Just the 2nd level is around 400 feet high.
Ok, then 18.4 seconds.
