Clinic can continue to provide abortions in Missouri, judge rules

Abortion services can continue for now in Missouri after a judge ruled that its license would not expire at the end of the day Friday. The state had refused to renew Planned Parenthood's license to continue providing the procedure.

Circuit Court Judge Michael Stelzer's ruling does not renew the license. Instead, the ruling allows the current license to remain in effect until the matter can be heard in court again on June 4.

Planned Parenthood "has demonstrated that immediate and irreparable injury will result if Petitioner's license is allowed to expire," Stelzer wrote in his decision. "The court finds that a temporary restraining order is necessary to preserve the status quo and prevent irreparable injury to Petitioner pending disposition of the case on the merits."

If the clinic had to stop providing abortion services, Missouri would have been the first state in the nation to block the procedure in more than 45 years.

"This is not a drill. This is not a warning. This is a real public health crisis," Dr. Leana Wen, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said Tuesday in a statement.

"Missouri would be the first state in the country to go dark -- without a health center that provides safe, legal abortion care," denying access to "more than a million women of reproductive age" living in the state, she said.

It’s not up to the AG to handle this, it’s up to MO to up the ante to a higher and higher court until it hits the nine in black robes and the Ultimate Judge, which, as we all knows, values life over evil!

By the time the Supreme Court gets around to saying “oh, well, we’re not touching that. It’s too controversial, don’t you know!” millions of more human beings will have been slaughtered - and millions more will have invaded our country, all because leftist judges are overstepping their authority and no one has the guts to stand up to them.

I’m actually just slightly more tolerant of state courts ruling on STATE issues, not federal courts. It’s the way it was design. That said, his ruling was fraught with error.

These activist judges seem to think that Abortion is a Constitutional right. The absolute right to an abortion is not in the Constitution. For that matter, neither is the right to buy alcohol. It’s not a Constitutional right.

So now the clinic can continue to perform “irreparable injury” to babies and their mothers without restriction...

What makes you think he isn’t doing anything He and Trump have been working to put things in place to keep out of control “Judges” from being able to issue edicts that go against all laws and sense...it takes time to change a trend that has been cultivated for many decades.

Many Planned Parenthood facilities are no cleaner than a wire coat-hanger in a dark alley.

Aristotle’s belief was that a male fetus developed a soul at 40 days and a female fetus at 90 days, so if the abortion was performed prior to these deadlines it was not killing something human.

Interesting that at one time the criteria was the soul.

PP "has demonstrated that immediate and irreparable injury will result if Petitioner's license is allowed to expire," Stelzer wrote in his decision.

Really moron? The only irreparable injuries that can occur, are by YOU allowing this murder mill to remain open!
