RUSH: Look at Bob Iger. So Bob Iger, he runs a business. Disney is a network that got started doing what? Making programs and theme parks for who? Children! Children! Kids! Little babies, who grow up to become Disney fans. They watch Disney TV shows, they watch Disney movies, they buy Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dolls, they go to the theme park.
So Bob Iger is out there, and he is livid over the anti-abortion bill in Georgia. And hes saying (paraphrasing), You know what, we may have to pull out of there. We may not be able to shoot in Georgia. This is audio sound bite number 24. This is Bob Iger on Wednesday on the Reuters website.
IGER: If it becomes law, it will be very difficult to produce there. I rather doubt we will. I dont think, one, I think many people who work for us will not want to work there. And well have to heed their wishes in that regard. If it becomes law, I dont see how its practical for us to continue to shoot there.
RUSH: Right. We cant shoot in a state thats gonna protect children. We cant do business in a state thats going to finally take action to make sure children are not wantonly killed and, in fact, were gonna take our production and were gonna go back to where? Hollywood? Hollywood, where we have a paragon of virtue? Hollywood, which is apparently morally correct? No, we cant shoot where these scumbags are in Georgia passing all these restrictive abortion bills, protecting our audience.
We cant shoot in a state thats gonna protect our audience. We cant do that! Weve gotta go back to a state thats wiping our audience out because thats what our employees are going to demand. To think, at one time they were touting this guy as a potential Democrat candidate to go against Trump. This guy would be not that difficult to beat just on this decision alone. On the other hand, over here we got all these people who think Donald Trumps the scumbag!
Donald Trumps the scumbag! People in Georgia are scumbags! People in Missouri are scumbag. We cant do business in Georgia! We cant do business in North Carolina. We cant do business in Missouri. We cant do business with these bigots!
Disney has been filming in:
Bolivia, where abortion is illegal
Croatia, where abortion is illegal after 11 weeks
The UAE, where abortion is illegal and BEING GAY is illegal
Disney has no problem filming in any of these locations, but now suddenly Georgia is the enemy?
Disney will have to pay through the nose to film in Blue States
By definition, sodomites aren’t interested in procreation. They do however enjoy corrupting the youth. With Iger, am I seeing a pattern here?
Indeed, Disney produced commercials for Ike and his golf cart (still on display at the studio) had a bumper sticker that said “Vote for Goldwater”.
We made the last payment today for a one week Disneyland Paris vacation in July.
Three thousand six hundred euros. With lots of extras added in.
I told my daughter to enjoy it.
I am staying home with the puppy.
You know, if these people REALLY had the courage of their convictions they would refuse to sell their products to people in Georgia or any state they don’t agree with. Refuse people from red states access to Disney World, and refuse all cable broadcasts and tchotchke distribution there as well. Take a real hit to prove your point. Otherwise it is merely virtue signaling.
He’s Goofy.
I wouldn’t even compare him to that dog. At least Goofy is a good father and actually had some instances of wisdom, which Iger completely lacks and also is more likely to throw his own children and anyone elses for that matter under the bus.
What if Mama Igor had chosen abortion 69 years ago?
I didn’t know Disney still hired many women. Thought it was mostly gay guys now. Why can’t they just provide bus tickets to their handful of abortion-desiring female employees?
We hate your kids, but love your money!
To be fair, some of the women serving in Disney right now could in fact be gay, or lesbians technically. You have to wonder about Linda Woolverton, who went out of her way to demonize men in the Maleficent movie, and to a certain extent Beauty and the Beast for her radical feminist agenda.
And quite frankly, there’s going to be a reckoning regardless after this latest stunt. Iger put Disney to a new low.
