Why do you think there will ever be another Republican President and Republican majority in the Senate, after the Demonrats pack the U.S. Supreme Court? Gulags and gas chambers. A jack boot stomping on a face, forever.
FDR got multiple Supreme Court justices to either resign or cave, mostly cave. The threat achieved the purpose, without setting a precedent that Republicans could use to reverse it.
The only hope after the Demonrats regain power is the other box, and with current surveillance it will be incredibly difficult to organize, requiring most of the military to rebel at once.
In fairness if the sitch were reversed I’d advocate packing myself. A lot could be said for pre-selecting replacements for Ginsberg and Breyer and temporarily going up to 11 and doing similar to the 10th circuit. But it was probably best not to try it first.
Needless to say we can’t let them win. The next time the rats have both Houses and the Presidency could be the end for America.
The circuits all need to be reorganized, anyhow.
