It was a beautiful moment, all types of Americans & Foreign Air Force Cadets, all types of varied religions, ethnics, culture, Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Latinos, Asians, Africans, Japanese, Europeans, etc., etc.!!! Good to see. However, what struck me is that they graduated as cadets, I would rather see them graduate as 2nd Lieutenants.
I had the misfortune to attend a Military Academy graduation early on in the Obama years. I sat with my head down as I simply couldn’t abide the BS he was spewing. The graduates had been told to just accept their diplomas, no additional antics. Many didn’t listen, with several chest bumping Bammy. And he chest bumped back. It was an embarrassment to know they had been told and ignored orders that day. Bammy is a stain that will not easily be erased.
