Scott, Is this an invasion? Is this serious?
Sorry a 5% tariff that US consumers are paying for Tequila, cilantro, fruits, Mexican party favors, etc. doesn’t seem like much to me except irony is that I am paying if I buy...Not Mexico...
Why not huge fees on remittances - cannot those be called tariffs and they be aimed at those breaking our laws, not mild tariffs on US consumers.
I just wish he would do more and would have months ago...What happened to the National Emergency declaration idea that was going around???...Eisenhower used it as did Bush.
HE gave Mexico a year instead of shutting down the border—that might have actually done something to stem the tide.
And it is a tsunami! Today over a 1000 moseyed over the border in El Paso...What is happening is insane!!
Drastic actions are required—shroud have been enacted already...

No, they cant be called tariffs and no he does not have the power to put a fee or tax on remittances. He is a president, not a King. If you want a King you are going to have to do that via a revolution. The president must act within the law. The law is not on our side in this and Congress is not going to change it. There is no short way to do this, no easy silver bullet, and to truly do it the majority in Congress must be removed (including the open borders Bush Republicans.
You are asking Trump to take actions that will really get him impeached. You dont think the Deep State isnt just waiting for him to make a misstep?
My suggestion to you: dont buy Mexican products. They will feel that, almost immediately. Dont feed your enemies money. Its one of the easiest damn things to do.
