Sophie Turner was included in the legions of outspoken A-Listers who rallied to criticise the American states of Alabama, Georgia and more in the wake of them passing a near total ban on women accessing an abortion.
Two weeks ago, Alabama's senate voted to pass the most restrictive abortion laws in the United States, virtually outlawing a woman's right to an abortion in every circumstance, apart from if the woman's life is in danger. This was then signed by their female governor, Kay Ivey.
Turner responded by posting a collage of Republican politicians saying, frankly terrifying, comments about rape.

Speaking with her X Men: Dark Phoenix co-star, and women's rights advocate in her own right, Jessica Chastain on Tuesday, both actress revealed they've signed a letter saying she would no longer work in states where women's rights are under attack.
'I have yet to tell my agents I signed it,' Turner told Sky News. 'They're going to be like: "What? You can't work in these states?" Yeah I can't work in these states.'
The reporter then pointed out that the show which catapulted Turner to blockbuster success, Game of Thrones, was largely filmed in Northern Ireland - another place where it is illegal to have abortions in practically every circumstance.
'There was a lot of work of Game of Thrones there,' Turner responded. 'So luckily we're moving on.'
Chastain also told the broadcaster she signed a letter 'saying I'm not going to work in any state that denies rights for women, for the LGBTQ community, for anyone'.
