Traditionally, the FBI screw-ups were sent to Butte, Montana.

Control the news cycle?

Yes.

No one, certainly no Republican, has demonstrated more ability to control the news cycle than Donald Trump. But let's just say that he need not control the news cycle, he merely has to control the subject.

I submit that it is better for the media to be debating whether James Comey is guilty rather than whether Donald Trump is guilty.

Nathan, what you said about timing is true.

That's what the AOC's are looking at.

What is Nancy Pelosi looking at?

Trump knows *everything* and has unrestricted authority to declassify anything and everything for any reason or for no reason at all.

So when the House votes for Impeachment, Trump releases *everything*, including every conversation among the utterly corrupt and evil FBI, CIA, DOJ, and top Democrats, including Hillary and Obama, on exactly how to frame Trump, step by step.

Total destruction of the Dem Party which not even Soros, CNN, MSNBC, and Twitter and Faecesbook combined can save.

What happens next? One suggestion is: They will then attempt to take down the Internet; and the President will use the emergency notification designed for nuclear war alerts, to inform the people.

My personal hope is that the military tribunals commence immediately afterwards.

I agree that the president by virtue of his constitutional authority and by virtue of the statute has the authority to declassify classified documents. My question is, may he release documents whether classified or unclassified without being in breach of statutes?

In other words, would he be as guilty as the leakers or those who uncovered individuals when the data is not necessarily related to national security?

I truly do not know the answer to this but it seems to me there might be some limits on his authority.

On the other hand, Roger Stone is trying to put the Department of Justice in a box by seeking discovery of the Ways and Means of his surveillance. Could not the president simply instruct the Department of Justice to release that data?

In order to release material advantageous to his defense of impeachment, would he need the fig leaf of, for example, a congressional subpoena or a motion such as Roger Stone has brought?

If any of you are ever seated on a jury, and are presented with any evidence that was in FBI possession, you must vote to acquit.

“the investigation’s findings will be referred to the FBI for “appropriate action””.
Wow now that is really serious, giving it to Mad dog Wray, heads will surely roll./S

Who recommended US Attorney Liu to be a part of the transition team?

It would be a glimpse as to the loyalties of that member of the administration. I’m not looking for speculation. I’ve looked and can’t find the answer.
______________

Perhaps it’s like modern journalism, where there are multiple authors on any article intended to do some degree of damage. IOW, there are task forces/committees/hierarchies operating under multiple levels of ‘consensus’ and unarticulated MOUs just to insure no one person can be pinpointed.

Given ‘Too Deep To Drain’, that isn’t a stretch. Add that Trump’s weakest skill seems to be hiring. In business, he has had the luxury, as CEO, to fire bad actors and non-performers. In the Swamp, this route is mined with unions and other regulations giving power to the employee or to their sponsors (think Congressional confirmation).

Too his credit, DJT has salvaged many of these mistakes, but the damage is cumulative.

You can't hire those who don't want the job, and one of the Deep State's most effective tools to hurt Trump is to make it clear that anyone who works for him will have their lives made a living Hell.

They fear that their career will take a hit.
__

Appears to be not only valid, but they also need to fear for all their families, friends and personal contacts up to the point of life or death.

The Deep State has no rules except those of the jungle. Unfortunately, Trump’s background in no rules fighting seems to be entities like UFC and WWE, which are scripted entertainment.

He does appear to be a fast learner, but the game is rigged, not for entertainment, but for institutional survival and there are so many more of _Them_.

Agree. They also are masters at inserting moles into the hiring stream, so anyone applying may be there to do damage.

How do you operate in that sort of environment? The USA cannot be run forever by Executive Order. That leads to dictatorship. zer0 perfected the ‘pen & phone’ method. Trump has been forced to do the same.

This is diabolical, in that it undercuts the Constitutional Republic.

Sometimes I feel like we’re in the final days of the Roman Empire.

Funny you say that, I said 2 years ago that if the Loudmouths on the Radio really wanted results in this attempted coup, they only need to start preaching Jury Nullification for ALL FEDERAL TRIALS if the FBI was involved in any way.

It’s very simple. Bob Barr should order the DOJ to prosecute. If they refuse, fire whoever is responsible with cause. Repeat as many times as are necessary to either prosecute or completely clean the rats out of the DOJ. Then repopulate with people who are not corrupt and then prosecute.

Elections have consequences.

Only horses’ asses in the Senate, so far.

Unless you count that braying woman in the House.

But, you’re right. At some point, a prog or prog-sympathizer will burn it all to the ground.

"Conservative Treehouse" is in the hotlink address. that should be a dead giveaway?

I read the source hotlink often to decide if I even want to bother opening it. If it's from ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBCAPREUTERS I know it's gonna be lies so I often times don't bother stirring up my blood pressure by looking at it.

--------------------------

With people like Chris Christie, Steve Bannon and Condoleezza Rice as members of his transition team, I am beginning to appreciate why PDJT kept family on: about the only people he knew and could trust to some degree.

I still wanna know who recommended US Attorney Liu as a transition team member. Her appointment as US Attorney for DC, the most powerful US Attorney in the land, makes me wanna shake my head. I was assuming it was Sessions the backstabber but I don't know.
