Theyre trying to eliminate the whole problem of bad areas by forcing the wealthy and the welfarians to live in the same residential complexes.
Sure, but not so much to eliminate “bad” areas as “bankrupt” areas; the wealthy and normals will pay for all of the municipal services for the unproductives...
I remember the story of an upper class neighborhood getting servants’ quarters classified as affordable housing.
I wonder if people would start installing granny flats, intentionally renting them out as 55+ only housing, and saying we met the affordable housing mandate. It lets you house “poor” people, but without the same risk of crime ... or demand on the school system.
