Just seen this on Fox. Mueller to give statement about his investigation.
Honestly, the best thing that could happen to Trump at this point would be impeachment. HE would be able to mount a defense for the public to see and he would be able to out the bad guys in such a way that the MSM would have zero ability to filter it (or they would have not as much ability). The trial would be live - just like Clinton's.
This would ALSO give him the added benefit of outing the bad guys in a DEFENSIVE position rather than an OFFENSIVE one. He could say "I have no choice." If nothing happens on the impeachment front and he goes after Obama and Hillary - it may look to SOME like sour grapes. However, if he had to basically fight for his life because he's being put on trial - everyone will understand it and he will probably be able to sink the whole dem ship.
Well this is now war.

So far, our side has largely been on defense and doesn’t appear to be up to fighting it. Where are the FISA docs? Where is Bucket Five? The Deep State is pushing back hard but we are not firing back and doing damage yet.
We need to see some offensive action. And soon.

No. He basically told Congress Trump is guilty if obstruction.
Just finished watching it on FOX. It was very interesting in he basically cut off the congressional investigation and shut down Nadler and his merry men.
By stating the original investigation was established to determine Russian interference in the 2016 election, he limited the span of it. Having people lie about their interests in the election doesn’t qualify a crime. Anyone can say anything if it is not slander. And none of it was. Misleading is a product of politics and both sides do it already.
By saying the investigation was also into the Trump campaign for colluding with the Russians and finding no evidence, closes that part out. He further stated that the there was not enough evidence, meaning none as any would have been enough, that Trump or his campaign obstructed the justice department work. This was previously verified by Barr.
Mueller also stated that since there isn’t a crime that can reach a court resolution because what the liberals were after cannot be one for a sitting president, then there is no crime. (Besides there being no evidence)
If that’s the case, then what is Nadler’s committee doing? Simple, voter unrest. Make the voters uncomfortable so they will vote Trump out in 2020. And that’s all. Trump can have a field day on this. And there is now a question on whether Nadler’s committee can subpoena anyone to testify for a non-existent crime of any nature without committing slander/liable with the inference that their committee is there to investigate something that doesn’t exist as there is no evidence of it and no way to prosecute it if there actually was.

Barr isn’t part of the clique. Mueller is afraid; you could hear it in his voice. He resigned so he could be beyond the reach of the DoJ IG.

Fox still talks as if they had a case in the first place.. all this was made up to unseat Trump.. there never was anything to pin on Trump.. it was an attempted coup!!

It's over, this was his repeat of everything that has already been said. Barr allowed this as a professional courtesy, probably so Mueller could say publicly he won't testify to Nadler.
The only news here was the Nadler rebuke, that's it.

Slimeball said Trump was guilty but said he couldn’t say that in the report.
I heard him say he has to follow the laws that deal with obstruction... which he did.
Mueller has to follow the law just like everyone involved in this report. The liberal press wants him to ignore the law and go after Trump for obstruction. He has told them he can’t do that because it’s against the law....
In short Trump was NOT charged with obstruction because the law does not allow it in this case. How much clearer can he get?

I guess you missed the parts where he said he could not pursue obstruction but Congress should since there were many instances of interference.

He lied, too. Janet Reno put Starr into the exact same position and Starr recommended 11 charges. Mueller recommended 0 and made the asinine comment that he has to absolve the defendant.

The Comey op-ed in the Times and Mueller’s statement were made in tandem to muddy up Barr’s investigation that will now include unclassified documents that will taint the FBI.
