SCOTUS to rule on whether border patrol agents can be sued over killing of Mexican boy at border
The Hill ^ | May 28, 2019

The Supreme Court on Tuesday agreed to take up a case on whether border patrol agents can be sued in U.S. federal court over the shooting and killing of Mexican citizens on the southern border.

The case stems from the cross-border shooting of a 15-year-old boy who was playing a game that involved running over the U.S.-Mexico border.

The boy's family alleges that he was shot and killed from across the border by a patrol agent while he was playing the game. His family members are seeking damages.

The justices will hear the case during their next term, which starts in the fall.

Running what? Guns? Drugs? Or simply running tests on the LEO readiness?

Acts of war are no game.

A more just suit would be if the BP agents sued the Mexican family for pain and suffering, for the gross negligence that led to this traumatic event.

Mexicans also play “Beat the Train to the Crossing” and a new one, “Jump the Open Draw Bridge,” just introduced in Louisiana.

When you have to deal with people who wade into the swift current of the flooding Rio Grande, holding their babies over their heads and then yelling for help, why would anyone want to be a Border Patrol agent?

Short answer: no.

Why on earth should foreign nationals be allowed to sue U.S. citizens when the person in question was illegally crossing the border, and thus breaking the law? And the U.S. citizens were doing their jobs?

I'm not sure about this law suit but the money for the "refugees" a lot of it is coming from our schools

Here is an example:

Of course he was shot from behind as he crossed from Mehico into the US, with a 7.62x39 round.

Is this the “game” where they run across the border and then throw rocks at the agents?

I don’t think BP agents shoot people for that. He was doing something else or he was killed from the Mexican side.
