ICYMI: Ocasio-Cortez Stepped On A Rake Trying To Slam A Reporter For Tweeting About Warren’s

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ate it last week. No, it wasn’t about the Green New Deal, which is a recipe for economic disaster; it was a poorly executed counterattack against…the media. Yep, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is running for the Democratic nomination in 2020, so your whole life goes under the microscope. Y’all know the drill. It so happens that she had quite the legal career as well, charging $675/hour and worked on over 50 legal cases. CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski simply tweeted about this dot on Warren’s resume, which AOC thought was an attack, pulled the trigger, but got face-full of buckshot instead. You see—the article was written by two female reporters from The Washington Post; Kaczynski didn’t even write it. AOC thought his comment about it on Twitter was sexist. Daily Wire has more:

Kaczynski did not write the article (which AOC apparently did not read), but two female reporters from The Washington Post did. And while the piece was rather pointless, it wasn’t an attack on Warren, though Ocasio-Cortez is usually the one vilifying folks for making big money.

“Sen. Elizabeth Warren worked on more than 50 legal matters during her career as a professor at Ivy League law schools, charging as much as $675 an hour to advise a variety of clients, from people with asbestos disease to a corporation facing possible liability over ruptured breast implants,” said The Washinton Post article shared by Kaczynski.

"While teaching, Elizabeth Warren worked on more than 50 legal matters, charging as much as $675 an hour,” the CNN reporter captioned his post.

BREAKING NEWS: Lady Had A Job, Got Paid More Than Me,” wrote an angry AOC. “Nice work.”

“Now do the amount of Wall Street, Big Pharma, & Fossil Fuel presidential candidates accepted over their careers & how much they’re taking now,” she added, again implying it was Kaczynski’s “sexist” scoop when he didn’t even write the report.

BREAKING NEWS: Lady Had A Job, Got Paid More Than Me

Nice work. Now do the amount of Wall Street, Big Pharma, & Fossil Fuel ?? presidential candidates accepted over their careers & how much they’re taking now. https://t.co/PI7xh1eQOE — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) May 23, 2019

Guys, just click the link. It's not hard. pic.twitter.com/45UDZy7RNw — Alex Griswold (@HashtagGriswold) May 23, 2019

He didn’t write the article. 2 WaPo women reporters did & the article does everything it can to flatteringly portray her work on Chapter 11 bankruptcy creditor committees. There is, literally, no attack in the entire piece. — Matthew Cowart (@mcowartlaw) May 23, 2019

Many others noted how the piece in The Post wasn’t really an attack at all, so talk about misdirected hostility. Frankly, given the Democrats’ ever-evolving rules, does AOC even have the…temperament to be a Congresswoman? I’m being sarcastic of course. But talk about a rather embarrassing rake-stepping episode. Also, isn’t it undemocratic to attack members of the media? I’ve heard that from somewhere too.

How did this woman ever reach the age of maturity?

It’s a wonder she’s able to open a box of cereal without getting confused....

Yes, she needs to spend more time on the issues in her own congressional district, and less time acting like the God appointed moral commissar of the USA.

I had to agree but, unfortunately the law says otherwise.

An example why we need to bring back the literacy test to vote as well as run for higher office.

She is among the last stand in the identity politics battle. They are still selling it, but normal people aren’t buying it anymore. The tranny bathroom agenda has put it over the top. I laugh at their rantings. Sexist? No, I just don’t like you. Racist? Nope, still not interested. Climate change? zzzzzzzzzzzz

To say she “stepped on a rake” is a gross exaggeration. Only rabid AOC haters will see it that way. She was simply corrected. Not every headline needs to be hyperventilating and dramatic...

Really hard to brag about/prove how much money you have made in the past when you are a bartender stealing ALL the tips in the jar....

Most of that $$$ doesn’t get reported-—not even a fair fraction thereof.

They actually still have to act as if the government controlled media is hostile towards them. They are leftist radicals you see. Living the lie.
