Joe Biden’s campaign of limited exposure: How long can he keep it up?
Washington Post ^ | May 26,2019 | By Annie Linskey and Chelsea Janes

through the cornfields in an RV, while Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) unveils a “Family Bill of Rights” and tours an ethanol plant.

And here’s former vice president Joe Biden’s agenda for the holiday weekend, according to his campaign: “Joe Biden has no public events scheduled.”

Those seven words are becoming familiar for the Biden team. Aside from a campaign swing right after announcing his candidacy, Biden has kept his head down while his rivals rush from state to state to state. Even when he has held public events, they have included only a handful of questions from voters or reporters.

The light public schedule reflects the unique position of his campaign, advisers say: With near universal name recognition and high favorability ratings among Democrats, the former vice president does not need to introduce himself to voters like nearly every other candidate. And as the leader in early polls, he can attract media attention without splashy events.

But there are risks. Voters in the early primary states — especially Iowa, with its caucus system that rewards on-the-ground organizing — want to see the candidates personally and often. And there is the danger that Biden’s schedule could reinforce a word President Trump is already using to describe his candidacy: sleepy.

Biden’s campaign says that’s not going to happen. “I have zero worry that any voter will leave a Joe Biden event with doubts about his energy,” said Kate Bedingfield, his deputy campaign manager. “They’re going to see it everywhere he goes.”

Biden spends 30 minutes to an hour greeting voters on a rope line after his public events, Bedingfield said.

But after a short burst of activity in the early primary states, his schedule the past two weeks or so has mostly involved fundraisers, which —

I’m much more concerned about serious ways that President Trump could, actually, fail to be re-elected, in ‘20. Deal with such circumstances RIGHT NOW, so that, hopefully, it doesn’t, actually, happen.

Until Michelle O is ready to enter the field. Then he will bow out.

He’s using the successful Hillary Clinton model, hold tiny little rallies, and avoid the press. It worked so well that she became the first woman elected president. Keep using it, Joe.

Limited exposure? He’s the one who likes to go swimming in the nude in the presence of his female security agents.

He’s an elderly man, for heaven’s sake. An elderly man who’s had not one but two brain surgeries. He’s unfit on medical grounds, nevermind his many other failures and shortcomings.

I agree. He's not limiting his appearances as part of a "strategy." It's being done out of necessity. He does not look like a well man to me. Just as Hillary couldn't keep up with the pace set by Donald Trump in 2016, Biden won't be able to do it this time around.

Herself ran a campaign of “limited exposure”.

And that worked so very well for Herself.

Intellectually, the “opinion makers” may tend to favor the “progressive” candidate, but they could not whip up enthusiasm for a truly lackluster rival for the office. People see Trump, out there before YUGE crowds, at a fly-in to a hangar in a venue near but not in big cities, and scratch their heads, say “Hmmm?”, then go home and urge their friends and neighbors, who have watched this spectacle on Fox TV, to get out the vote for this truly energetic force of nature.

Joe Biden will have all the force of a release of abdominal gas in a wind tunnel.

Pete Buttigieg is looking all the better to the Democrats as time passes. Yet he may have even LESS appeal to the moderates of this country than Joe Biden.

Brokered convention, Michael Bloomberg steps in as the candidate.

Rolling Stone propaganda cover story photo.

Just think. There used to be Dem political giants and majestic heroes back then, striding the earth:
Mondale, Dukakis and Al Gore. (Barf)

Blue pill joke: Very funny. Best of the day.

You got there before I could say “Let’s hope Biden never starts exposing himself. His usual creepy stuff is enough.”

Not good when the Washington Post is putting up these articles and not by token RINO’s on the payroll.

Limited exposure?

So women and children of both sexes are finally safe from this habitually pawing/fondling/groping bastard?

If Trump had done 1/1,000th of what Biden has, he’s be impeached, skinned alive, and ridden out of town on a rail.

Biden should be in a padded room, adult male attendees only.

Joe thinks he has a big lead. he’s coasting. Unlike the Donald, he’s lazy.

That was Hillary’s winning strategy.

“Joe Biden’s campaign of limited exposure”

This is EXACTLY the same losing strategy deployed by Hillary!

But the limited exposure strategy was necessary for Hillary and will be necessary for Bidn, though for different reasons.

In Hillary’s case, the more the public saw of her shrill, robotic, humorless, un-empathetic, elitist performances, the more they disliked her.

In Bidn’s case, the more exposure he gets, the more evident it is that he’s mentally unfit to run a lemonade stand, much less be leader of the free world ...
