That is true.
I meant to say the one thing they have in common is hatred of freedom.
I think they all do.
>> the plural of kippah is not kippahs but kippot.
That’s the plural in Hebrew, not English. “Kippahs” works just fine. To English only speakers the Hebrew plural sounds too much like “tea pot”.
How about “skullcap” in the title - that’s a flowering plant.
And “yarmulke”? That’s Yiddish - a language specifically rejected by the founders of modern day Israel. (I know - I worked with some of the men who were on the aviation team that brought those words into 20th Century Hebrew using biblical Hebrew root words. Example: “Radar” combined the ancient words “far” and “look”.)
Exactly. Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem (Arafats uncle) were allies, and the Germans raised a couple of Muslim divisions in the Balkans. So Nazis and Muslims are old friends in killing Jews.
Wear a Florence to one and go John Wick on anyone that touches you
It is outrageous that hateful people would attack those they hate based on what they are wearing on their head. Then again, there are places in this country where you can’t wear a MAGA hat without risking being accosted or even assaulted by people with TDS. So there’s that.
Hitler may not have been Muslim but he spoke favorably of Islam in Mein Kampf as being a more manly religion than Christianity.
Hitler was contemptuous of Arabs for being Semitic like the Jews, but Mein Kampf was published in Arabic even before he took power. It remains a bestseller in the ME to this day.
That famous photo of Hitler with Haj Amin al-Husseini has a legend that says Hitler at first refused to meet the Arab leader until an aide whispered, “My Fuhrer, the Mufti has blue eyes”.
“Send him in” the Nazi dictator replied.
Yes. This is totally accurate.
Look up Hitler and the Grand Mufti. Mein Kampf is still a best seller in the ME and required reading in the Muslim Brotherhood.
Ah the wonders of diversity...
Meanwhile face veils and body coverings are just fine things to enforce for some.
“Look up Hitler and the Grand Mufti. Mein Kampf is still a best seller in the ME and required reading in the Muslim Brotherhood.”
Of course.
The specific comment in question was Hitler converting to Islam.
Both are rooted in leftism.
Arabs are half-Semitic; through their mother Hagar (an Egyptian), they are half-Hamite.
Yes, this is all outrageous.
Myself, I doubt it. He saw himself as a quasi-religious figure, and he sure was not going to call Mahomet the last prophet and have all his adoring masses switch from “Heil Hitler” to “Allahu Akbar”.
>> You mean the English word Radar? All the books I read say thats an acronym derived from the phrase Radio Detection And Ranging.
Yes, that’s correct. What I guess I didn’t make clear was the Israelis didn’t want to import the word “Radar” from English, but to make a new word using Hebrew roots from their 3200+ year old language that had been focused on religious use for a long, long time. They combined “far” and “look” in some fashion to make the new word.
Sorry; must’ve misunderstood.
I presume you’re referring to ol’ Ismael, Abraham’s bastard. For all we know, when he moved to the sands of Arabia, he met another Semitic tribe and married into them.
We do know what happened. Genesis 17:21 plainly says that Hagar, Ishmael’s mother, found him a wife from Egypt (Mizraim, who are Hamite) after they had settled in Paran. Genesis 25:13-15 lists the names of Ishmael’s twelve sons.
