U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam, Jr., on Friday immediately halted the administration’s efforts to redirect military-designated funds for wall construction. His order applies to two high-priority projects to replace 51 miles (82 kilometers) of fence in two areas on the Mexican border.
Gilliam issued the ruling after hearing arguments last week in two cases. California and 19 other states brought one lawsuit; the Sierra Club and a coalition of communities along the border brought the other. His ruling was the first of several lawsuits against Trump’s controversial decision to bypass the normal appropriations process to pay for his long-sought wall.
Gilliam, an appointee of President Barack Obama, said the plaintiffs were likely to succeed on arguments that the president was wrongly ignoring Congress’ wishes.
“Congress’s ‘absolute’ control over federal expenditures_even when that control may frustrate the desires of the Executive Branch regarding initiatives it views as important_is not a bug in our constitutional system. It is a feature of that system, and an essential one,” he wrote in his 56-page opinion.

Tump isn’t appropriating funds. He’s redirecting funds already appropriated. He has the right to call a State of Emergency and he has a right to redirect funds. The Left is going to be exercising judicial tyranny on an increasingly large scale. They’re running out of options, it’s one of the last of their facets of control they have constructed. Their manipulated control of public opinion is waning fast, they have no likeable candidates. All they can do now is use brute force, using Leftist judges who make up laws, or grossly misinterpret them.

How many American lives will be sacrificed at their satanic alter before this, and similar “rulings” are overturned by SCOTUS? Until then, every last Congressional Democrat Socialist should be forced to attend the funerals (without security) of American citizens whose lives they intentionally squandered in their blood-lust for power and control.
This was my worry when Trump folded on the partial government shut down. I sure hope the adminstration can get this over turned and fast.
Time to tell the judges they can take their cases to the Supreme Court but meanwhile the work, the deportations, the arrests, the limits on “asylum”, the sending individuals and “families” back to where they came from will continue.

Names, pictures, addressees. All judges and their families should fear for their lives every single judicial decision they make. All public officials should. Every damned one of them. Bureaucrats too.
Exactly, the judicial branch does not have any Authority when the president has designated a state of emergency. Congress can override it, but they failed to. The very designation of emergency means is operating outside abnormal established law. The judge’s ruling is moot and can be ignored
