By the mere looks of him, I'd say Letterman has now lost his mind completely.
I hadn't seen a pic of him in a long while.
Not that I've been looking very hard...

Man, was Letterman ever THE MAN back in the days. During my wild liberal University and bar-hopping days in the 90s, I'd stay up eating pizza and watching the Late Night show (and SportsCenter with Keith Olbermann and Dan Patrick). His show, IMO was much better than Leno's.
Just sad that he's turned into a miserable little prick.

Kanye West makes more sense than David Letterman. I’m liking this one.

Too bad about Dave. His humor and mine are on the same wav length, but he got bitter after he was not anointed Carson’s successor, and it got worse as time went on.

Letterman was great back in the NBC days. Larry Bud Melman ringing in the first day of Spring in Times Square was best comedy Ive ever seen on television.
When Letterman switched to CBS in the 90s the show was still good but had lost its edge.
But during the GWB administration the show went total crap. Letterman hated Bush and turned what had been a comedy show into the kind of leftist pablum that is typical today. Totally unwatchable.

Among other things, Letterman brought us Chris Elliot, whose "Get A Life" is still one of my all-time favorite shows. Letterman also gave us the Late Night Tiger Cam, which ended with Paul Schaeffer looking into the camera in horror as the presumed tiger jumped on him. Also Brother Ted, can't forget him. The Late Night With David Letterman show was great stuff when I was in college.
His decline came even before he moved to CBS and the 11:30 time slot - the end of Late Night was already getting pretty bloated and full of itself. It's a shame Letterman turned into a bitter, cranky old fool with political views he can't help inflicting on everyone else. And for some reason, since retirement he insists on looking like something from a box of 19th century cough drops.

Letterman's current picture with the long beard reminds me of Robert Crumb's underground cartoon comic character "Mr Natural."
The difference, however, is that Letterman has the personality of Crumb's nemesis character "Flakey Foont" rather than "Mr Natural."

You gotta respect Kayne for this. This is America. It’s your right to support Trump. Unfortunately, at work I’m still in the closet.
