Intelligence professionals warned Friday that President Donald Trump’s decision to give his loyal attorney general carte blanche to disclose still-secret material from the Russia investigation will let William Barr cherry-pick intelligence to paint a misleading picture about what started the probe.
The president claims his campaign was spied upon, though Trump administration officials have said they have no specific evidence that anything illegal was done when the campaign came under FBI surveillance that was approved by a court.
On Thursday, Trump gave Barr full authority to publicly disclose information about the origins of the investigation the president has repeatedly dismissed as a “hoax.”
“You have to get down to what happened because what happened is a tremendous blight on our country,” Trump said, adding that Barr is highly respected and will be impartial in reviewing documents.
But Trump’s critics are wary of leaving the decision of what intelligence to release — and what should remain hidden — in Barr’s hands. Barr is a staunch Trump defender who Democrats say spun special counsel Robert Mueller’s report in Trump’s favor, playing down aspects suggesting possible criminal conduct. Mueller has also complained to Barr about his handling of the release of the report. …

Those “CRITICS” who think that the facts that are exposed will be because AG Barr “cherry picked them” should do what any normal person would do to find the truth:
START AN INVESTIGATION OF THEIR OWN..
And I’ll bet they would be reluctant or downright opposed to doing such a thing as investigating. Because they are too stupid to admit that they did SOMETHING VERY WRONG.
After mueller had all anti Trump attorneys investigating.. after the obama administration used the gov to attack and spy on Trump .. god forbid we have an honest pro American AG to reveal the anti Trump treasonous acts of the dems and et al.

Why didn’t Sessions Resign as soon as he saw wat Rosenstein and Mueller were doing? Did Trump worry he would be accused of obstruction if he appointed as AG who did his job?
I think Sessions did offer to resign earlier but Trump kept him on didn’t he?
They act as if they are afraid this new data will send some of them to court and then into jail.
What they should really be concerned about is that if this doesn’t send them to trial and if the people become upset about what they find out, they may in fact take matters into their own hands.
Once you learn what creepy kinds of people produce the news, you get a whole new perspective on what the news is.
