In a video that is now going viral, a 12-year-old boy detained by Sacramento police is handcuffed with a bag placed over his head.
Police say they put a mask on the boy after he spit at an officer several times....
The family's attorney says officers should have shown some leniency, given the child is just 12-years-old.
The family says they may file a lawsuit and are asking for an apology....

No apology needed, he was spitting at officers.
As long as there are some small holes on the bag, so he can get sufficient air, I don’t see anything wrong with it.
Police doesn’t have to tolerate being spit on.

Spit hoods are standard for when a suspect is spitting. In this case, the little animal was spitting.

I couldn't fathom acting like that, cussing like that, let alone spitting on the police when I was 12 years old.
Hopefully the boy was charged with the felony of spitting at officers.

It was a mesh spit bag. No problem getting air. He continued to curse the police in defiance. Check the video of the body cam posted above.
