Considering how rare a situation like that is, the hospital staff can hardly be blamed for not checking to see if an obese man is actually pregnant.
But considering the situation, the baby would likely have died anyways as with a pinched off umbilical cord you only have minutes.
Even if they did everything that some people think they should have done, or it were a pregnant woman in that situation, there is still a pretty high likelihood that the baby could not have been saved.

I bet this guy sues the hospital, doctor, and nurses who did not instantly diagnose the “man’s” condition. If they had and had treated him as a female in Britain they would likely be liable for identifying her as a woman and subject to legal penalties.
A post-op tranny would not have a birth canal. A pre-op would still be a woman. This story confuses me. We need an autopsy on the baby, could have OD’d on some meds to facilitate the change.
