Next month’s LA Pride Parade will be televised for the first time. KABC has inked a three-year deal with Christopher Street West, the nonprofit group that produces the annual LA Pride Festival and Parade in West Hollywood, to air the event. This year’s parade is set for Sunday, June 9.
“We’re proud to bring the L.A. Pride Parade celebration to viewers across Southern California,” said Cheryl Fair, president and general manager of KABC. “Our collaboration with LA Pride is a commitment to reflecting and serving the diverse communities that represent our audience.”

If there is a parade to celebrate Pride, what about the other Deadly Sins? Even Sodom and Gomorrah need to consider traditions, after all.
This cloud may have a silver lining. Let the world see the sodomites cavorting at their little parade. It would be an eye opener to many.

The sidewalks are largely deserted. The parade participants far outnumber anyone coming. I'm predicting that they cancel it in the next year or two.
Moral decadence can be readily found in the British Isles, Scandinavia, France, and the Germanic nations as bad or even worse than California. The Northeastern U.S. and the Great Lakes cities are almost as depraved as the West Coast. Decadence has nothing to do with climate.

I remember a few years back at a parade they had, they were literally blowing each other on the side walks.

Thankfully, I’m not in the L.A. viewing area, but I wonder how many times the camera is going to have to cut away, and if KABC will be criticized for not showing all of the “pride” that West Hollywood has on offer. Maybe they can hire that guy who used to do the KY derby as a commentator.

June 9th is a Sunday and a day in the Christian church known as The Day of Pentecost, remembering that day over two thousand years ago when the Disciples, gathered in an upper room received the Holy Spirit and empowered to go out into the known world and spread the Gospel. It is often called the birthday of the church.
Gay pride day on June 9th this year is like a slap on a Christian’s face, IMO.
That will be an eye opener to some Angelinos’. I think the Folsom Street party in SF should be shown nation wide too. Let the LBGTQ folks show the world who they really are. Too many people think Gays are ‘Will and Grace’. They have no idea what the real LGBTQ lifestyle consists of. Let’s show the world. This is a good start if the parade organizers don’t tone it down for TV, which I’m guessing they won’t.
Valid research over the years proves that no one is born a homosexual.
They might want to beef up security against a Muslim terrorist attack.
