As the spygate scandal unraveled early last year, Stefan Halper is a name that wouldnt stop popping up.
Having previously been involved in a CIA spying scandal in the 1980s, Halper got another spy gig in the 2016 election in which he attempted to infiltrate the Trump campaign. In a prior article I extensively detailed Halpers involvement in trying to entrap various Trump campaign team members.
Even after the election, Halper pitched himself as an ambassador to China for the Trump team after his presidential victory.
In other words, even after Trumps victory, a spy was nearly embedded within the Trump team.
Thanks to recently released notes from an interview the State Departments Kathleen Kavalec had with dossier author Christopher Steele, a possible bombshell connection between Halper and the dossier has been uncovered.
As discussed earlier in the week on the podcast, those notes also demonstrate Steele failing to keep his story straight between the State Department and FBI, proving how unreliable he is.
In Kavalecs handwritten notes from their interview she makes note of two of Steeles dossier sources; Trubnikov and Surkov.
Surkov is Vladislav Surkov, an aide of Vladimir Putin who is on the U.S.s list of sanctioned individuals, and Trubnikov is Vyacheslav Trubnikov, who is currently the First Deputy of Foreign Minister of Russia and formally served as the Director of Foreign Intelligence Service.
Interestingly, Trubnikov is an associate of Halper.
As Sara Carter reported back in August of 2018:
Halper left the Cambridge Intelligence Seminar in December 2016, saying he was concerned about Russian influence.
Halper had told reporters at the time that it was due to unacceptable Russian influence.
Ironically, documents obtained by SaraACarter.com suggest that Halper also had invited senior Russian intelligence officials to co-teach his course on several occasions and, according to news reports, also accepted money to finance the course from a top Russian oligarch with ties to Putin.
Several course syllabi from 2012 and 2015 obtained by this outlet reveal Hapler had invited and co-taught his course on intelligence with the former Director of Russian Intelligence Gen. Vladimir I. Trubnikov.
While Carter has his name as Vladimir not Vyacheslav, this is indeed the same individual. Carters article continues:
On May 4, 2012, the course syllabus states, Ambassador Vladimir I. Trubnikov will comment on the challenges faced while directing the Foreign Intelligence Service, his tenure as Ambassador to India, President Putin and the likely course of Russias relations with Britain and the U.S.
In May 2015, Trubnikov returned to teach with Halper at his seminar in Cambridge on current relations between the Russian Federation and the West.
Clearly the two have a working relationship.
Stefan Halper had cozied up to three Trump campaign advisers, Carter Page, Sam Clovis, and George Papadopoulos in an attempt to garner damning information from them.
The FBI would (falsely) claim one of those men (Papadopoulos) was the reason they began investigating the Trump campaign in the first place, while they obtaining a FISA to spy on another (Page).
Halpers tentacles keep popping up everywhere in the spygate scandal would it really be all too surprising if Halper was feeding Steele (bogus) information through Trubnikov? Id say not.
And we're supposed to believe that anyone is being charged for Sedition? I for one don't. We've been played for a few years now. Meanwhile, the Masters of War are ginning up their next march to keeping us involved where we don't belong.
I am very tired of yet another bombshell, only to get another tiny wet firecracker. Yawn...
Call me when someone is finally charged for something and arrested.
Just more blah, blah, blah ...
Because I see on your FR Profile page that you are an Orthodox Christian.
So I'm sure you'll appreciate this...
Russian President Vladimir Putin during a visit to the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos on mount Athos sat in the chair, which previously could only occupy the Byzantine emperors. Putin said about the need to strengthen the spiritual power of all the Orthodox and declared the Greek mountain a source of well-being and grace for the Russian Orthodox world.
Putin visited Athos, having participated in events in honor of the 1000th anniversary of the appearance of Russian monks on the Holy mountain. On the website of the Kremlin promptly a photo gallery, and Greek TV covered the trip live. As notes Ribbon., thanks to the spiritual life of the head of state was put on public display, which usually happens.
Putin on mount Athos visited the Church of the assumption of the blessed virgin, where was celebrated a short prayer service, during which was prayed with supplication for the health, life and mercy the servant of God of Vladimir with the family and those around him, reports TASS. After this welcome address said the Holy mountain protopectin father Paul.
In response, Putin thanked the Ecumenical Patriarch and the primates of the Greek Orthodox Church for what they do to maintain relations with the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian people. Im here for the second time and always feel a special warmth, kindness and the best attitude not only to me, as the head of the Russian state and the Russian people, the people as a whole, said the President of Russia. He also noted that on the Holy mountain is very important and very necessary for the Orthodox world an act associated with the strengthening of the moral foundations of society: To a large extent you are the source of well-being and grace.
The President noted that Russia and Athos have long had a close religious bond, the Athonite tradition played a significant role in the life of the Russian people, and in our days the interest of Russia to mount Athos continues unabated, and more recently with the active participation of the Russian Orthodox Church and philanthropists there is a restoration of historical sites associated with the Russian presence on the Holy Mountain.

i criticise one article you post and you go after my religion?
Dan has been using his law-enforcement instincts to grab hold of this issue like crazy.
Almost any of his one-hour daily shows will give you a Ph.D. in democrat collusion-ology
Well, let's just say I just suspect you ain't on the up and up.
LOL
Yes, he's doing a fantastic job on this fake Trump-Russia collusion story. Let's just hope that "Operation Boomerang" will go into full force not too long from now and everyone, even the dumbest people among us, those (supposedly) on our side, will see and know for themselves the truth about what really happened here. That it was a highly sophisticated, elaborate, but typical KGB/FSB-styled, massive deception coordinated by BOTH the Dems AND the Russians. The Putin admin is loaded with former KGB and FSB people.
Tell us, then, what are your (honest) thoughts on KGB/FSB Putin?
Well, if our side had to rely on lazy thinkers, this elaborate hoax would never have even been exposed in the first place.
Send your research to the moderators and jimrob, hopefully you can get him banned for critiquing the logic of one of your articles
Naah, I doubt that’ll do any good.
Why not?
Do you think they are not on the up and up also?
Maybe they are infiltrated by agents.
Let us know what the voices say
“The Steele dossier without a doubt was a fraud. The fact that at least four versions of the dossier being passed around provides additional proof that the entire dossier was made up.”
“There is no possible way that British intelligence folks who read the Christopher Steele dossier and didnt just laugh.”
“Now, memos the FBI is turning over to Congress show the bureau possessed at least three versions of the dossier and its mostly unverified allegations of collusion.
Each arrived from a different messenger: McCain, Mother Jones reporter David Corn, Fusion GPS founder (and Steele boss) Glenn Simpson.
That revelation is in an email that disgraced FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok wrote to FBI executives around the time BuzzFeed published a version of the dossier on Jan. 10, 2017.”
*All of the version changes happened after Steele submitted his last dossier report.”
Lol! Good one!
I simply meant that they’ve a tolerant crew. They (rightfully) let everyone have their say.
With your construction, you're trying to use Steele's lack of credibility to disprove everything he says.
With the same construction, you might as well prove the sun doesn't rise in the east!
Sorry, bub, Steele is almost certainly not credible--that's correct--but as any liar knows, to be believable at the crucial moment, it has the best chance of working if you're perceived as credible as possible leading up to any big lie.
Both Steele and his "source E" parlayed off their supposed high levels of credibility.
Just because the lacking-in-credibility Steele said something doesn't make it wrong any more than it makes it right.
Your posting history shows who and what you are.
So it’s no wonder why you got so defensive about links being made between Russia and the Democrats in this Trump-Russia collusion hoax they jointly orchestrated.
Your "logic" is breathtakingly "inadequate!" With your construction, you're trying to use Steele's lack of credibility to disprove everything he says.
The Russians, and clearly their paid or unpaid trolls, as I know you know, are very good at this sort of trickery. The KGB/FSB were/are notorious for their mass deception and disinformation campaigns. They must laugh their butts off at how easily (many) Americans can be deceived and manipulated.
However, I don't believe that the Russians actually liked Obama or Hillary either. Instead, they merely used them as the willing dupes that they are to achieve an outcome that would be vastly better for them, knowing full well that if they had remained in power, via Hillary, that US policy toward them and their puppet states like Iran and North Korea, etc, would continue on its pathetically weak, accommodating, disastrous (for us) course.
Nope, I don’t think Steele’s allegation has been disproven.
It should be investigated, despite serious credibility problems. But no one should go around assuming it is true, or even likely to be true.
Here is the actual logic of my post.
The author here presents 3 sources of information, and pretending they are independent and corroborating.
But they aren’t at all.
All 3 actually come from the same source, Steele.
* The word of Christopher Steele
* A government employee who reported what Christopher Steele said
* A government document that transcribed an interview with Steele.
The author’s “bombshell” is nothing of the sort.
The author presents astonishment that the same name keeps coming up as the source for the dossier, without noting that each time it comes up, it came from Steele and no one else...
He acts as if there is significant corroboration but there isn’t.
