You were there when the tornado hit in Joplin? So was I but I lived in Webb City so didn’t get hit.
ORDER FEMA TO STAND DOWN AND AWAIT PRESIDENTIAL ORDERS. Inflict pain on congress by blaming them!.
Do you know Havesuemom?
I don’t, personally, but I know she is there all the time moderating in the YouTube chat. LOL!
It’s Climate Changeo, the god of political correctness, punishing them for naming their town after a slave owner.
Hi there LUV..just reading this thread now and catching up with this devastation.
What link are you watching?
I also found THIS FOOTAGE of what they found when daylight came this morning. Amazing that more people weren't injured, but they're now saying only 9 were.
That was the first thing I noticed, those mods do a good job keeping away the BS.
We’re fair but tough. Steve doesn’t like over-moderation, but when things get nasty and we can’t keep up, he steps in an zots them himself. LOL! He’s even blocked a few who gave donations because the camments were so foul and hateful. I give him kudos.
He just sent out a notification for the tornado warnings and storms that are now brewing in the DC/VA area. EEK!
Seems like a blessedly low casualty count for such a strong tornado hitting a city, probably the late evening timing spared some lives as fewer people on the move or in harm’s way.
Later today, Kentucky and far south IL-IN under the gun as well as Maryland-DC as mentioned and Texas panhandle into nw OK and sw KS. The Kentucky risk may be higher than currently indicated as satellite shows a developing supercell in s.e. Missouri surrounded by clear air to its south and east, so a faster path to development than most of the other candidates that are fighting other cells or low level cloud.
Thanks for the info friend!
Holy cow!!!
I’ve seen some footage on TV today but nothing like this. It’s amazing no one was killed and so few were badly injured.
Isn’t that wild? I spent most of the time watching it with my jaw dropped! LOL! Praise the Lord that it wasn’t any worse for the humans! It’s going to take a while to clean up that mess.
Looks like there was a kind of a large tornado near Follett, Texas this evening. Hope no one was hurt!
It was a jaw-dropper alright. Much worse than I expected.
I wonder if the tornado at Follett is the monstrous wedge tornado Brett and Brandon got video of. It was up in that part of TX.
Nope, just check Brett’s channel and it was close to Canadian, TX. But that same storm set off another warning box on the radar a little later and that was up around Follett. I hope that one wasn’t as huge as the wedge. That was a monster.
Follett and Canadian aren’t that far apart so I’ll bet it was the same storm system.
I’d been tracking the storm so knew it was the same one at both places. I just don’t think the wedge stayed on the ground that long since there was a period of time with no warning with the storm.
I hope the people were not at that farm house that it passed near to. Or that the home wasn’t destroyed like the city of Jefferson City was.
I watched the video again, closely, and it looked like the tornado passed it to the side far enough to not demolish the house. I’d say they have some tree debris to clean up.
And it passed on the side opposite of where the cows were so they should be ok. Rattled their nerves, though, I reckon! And the nerves of anyone who was home at the time.
It kind of rattled mine and I was only watching online. LOL! I have had nightmares about tornados and it’s a wonder I didn’t have one last night. Guess I wasn’t asleep long enough.
