With 45% reporting, Keller is ahead with 72% of the vote. It appears to be a complete blow-out. I am glad to see that the R’s are motivated to go out to the polls in a special election.

65-35 GOP in 2012
62-24-12 GOP in 2014
70-30 GOP 2016
66-33 GOP 2018
It also includes State College lefties (including the D candidate), or otherwise it would be a really, really R district.

This is normally a heavy Republican, Conservative district...but the Republican, candidate, Fred Keller has been leading with higher voter percentages that beloved Republican, Tom Marion who retired down from his House Seat in January.
The last results from the NY Times are approaching the fifty (50%) level. I suspect the Associated Press will call Fred Keller, the winner within a few minutes, if they have already not done so. Congrats, Mr. Keller...Welcome to Congress....you “Trumpster” from head to toe!!! Ya done good!!!
nyt has called the race for Keller (R), with 48% of the vote reported; Keller has a 72-28 percent lead.

The NY Times just declared Fred Keller the winner of the Pennsylvania 12thCD “Special Election” with Keller getting 72% of the vote to Friedberg’s 28% of the vote. I suspect the AP has also declared Keller the victor!!!

If Keller can match the - 70-30 GOP in 2016 - its excellent news for PA, especially given his TV campaign; no socialism, no Green Deal, and YES to DJT.

The GOP vastly over performed the Cook PVI and is very close to 2016 numbers here.
The GOP swept all the PA State legislative seats too.
