Atheistic Humanism (such as defined in Humanist Manifestos 1-2), is the core faith/belief behind all left wing efforts, including environmentalism, and if not defeated, will kill us all, or at least anyone in their way, to bring about their objective of total subjugation.
.
Rachel Carson was a complete imbecile with zero credentials or background. She was nothing but an attention whore who died shortly after spewing her toxic idiocy.
In other words, she was the ideal icon for the left.
And you still walk among us!
DDT is actually quite a safe chemical. You could probably bathe in it and live to tell the tale.
It was truly a gift; the precious lives it saved until that imbecile with zero credentials came along and the left elevated her to pre Algore status.
Don’t assume this wasn’t the planned outcome; for decades Western elites had issues with the exploding populations of Asia and Africa (primarily due to the intervention of Western medicine), and this was probably one way to reverse that.
Red China’s control of its population, including the control of its growth, is the envy of Western elites; look at how our tech companies assist in perpetuating it - and how we’ve basically built their manufacturing economy while destroying our own.
From a Western secular viewpoint, malaria is killing people “we don’t want too many of”...
“The patent on the manufacture of DDT expired in the 1960s and the chemical industries were keen to promote and sell thier newer products.”

Extensive hearings on DDT before an EPA administrative law judge occurred during 1971-1972. The EPA hearing examiner, Judge Edmund Sweeney, concluded that "DDT is not a carcinogenic hazard to man... DDT is not a mutagenic or teratogenic hazard to man... The use of DDT under the regulations involved here do not have a deleterious effect on freshwater fish, estuarine organisms, wild birds or other wildlife."
[Sweeney, EM. 1972. EPA Hearing Examiner's recommendations and findings concerning DDT hearings, April 25, 1972 (40 CFR 164.32, 113 pages). Summarized in Barrons (May 1, 1972) and Oregonian (April 26, 1972)]
Overruling the EPA hearing examiner, EPA administrator Ruckelshaus banned DDT in 1972. Ruckelshaus never attended a single hour of the seven months of EPA hearings on DDT. Ruckelshaus' aides reported he did not even read the transcript of the EPA hearings on DDT.
