Pro-choicers want the the focus to be on women’s rights. At the moment of conception, isn’t any woman now a mother?
Why is motherhood inferior?

Free peoples have rights, but not powers.

Good. I imagine the push for “up until birth” will wake up the fence sitters. I do believe even if you are a person whose attitude is “not my business”, the fact that the left has made the jump from “rare and necessary only” to killing a baby that is so large in the womb that it’s obvious to the naked eye will change some minds.

By taking an extreme position (abortion at birth) they hope to find compromise on the liberal side of center. They are playing a game. But infanticide is still infanticide. Child sacrifice is still child sacrifice. There is no compromise position.
