Demands new powers be transferred to international authority that ‘manages’ interests of nations
Pope Francis recently called for global governance to fight climate change, asserting, “The nation state cannot be considered as an absolute.”
During an address to the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, the Pope condemned “growing nationalism that neglects the common good” and called for more globalism.
“The nation state cannot be considered as an absolute, as an island with respect to the surrounding context,” he said, adding, “The nation state is no longer able to procure the common good of its populations alone.”
Pope Francis said that a “special authority legally and concordantly constituted” was necessary to facilitate the implementation of new climate change policies.
He went on to demand that power be transferred from nation states to “intergovernmental institutions that manage their common interests.”
“This universal common good, in turn, must acquire a more pronounced juridical value at international level,” concluded Francis.
The Pope has made innumerable statements bashing nationalism and populism, particularly in the context of his advocacy of bringing millions of migrants into Europe.
Under his guidance, the Catholic Church has also fully embraced the global warming mantra despite deep skepticism amongst Christians.

Gee, sounds almost Biblical...
I am not too sure how much of this thought to post here,
so please forgive, and I will keep it brief, too.
I used to look to the religious leadership to at least help keep Western societies moral (as well as, of course, faithful). And, in my youth at least... there were many apparently very sincere clerics of almost all Biblical denominations. Teaching, preaching pretty much correct moral messages.
Nowadays, there seem to be far less reliable clerics (whether inside the RCC, in a number of obviously-”fallen” Protestant denominations, and within the Jewish (”reform” world. Many modern-day (latter-day?) clerics seem to actually have the nerve to preach, teach ANTI-MORAL (and often, anti-Biblical) messages, indeed!
This clerical abdication (or worse, “wolves in sheep’s albs, “ amoral or anti-moral “leadership in the cloth”....”enemies within”...whatever......)
is of serious concern. Spiritually, obviously. But it is also contributing to the rotting out of our “liberal (in the finest sense of that word) Western tradition of liberty and a moral society generally.
As (President) John Adams so famous said,
“ Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
The rotting out and patent dysfunction, all the lying in Congress and the Deep State, whatever you wish to cite...
reflects this erosion of moral values.....
The individuals need to square their relationships with their Creator, and mend their ways of course. But most of them are not listening. And alarmingly, there are less and less clerics worth listening to.
Is there any way to re-strengthen the clerical ranks?

Okay that clears up one thing, it’s now 45 days to the second coming. (Daniel 12, abomination that makes desolate, day 1290, blessing comes at day 1335).
This is literally the prophetic fulfilment of the abomination, the man who declares himself to be (a) god in the temple. What is the Vatican except the modern day temple of the reformed faith? And what is this declaration except a statement that godless atheistic globalism can run a world state without the lordship of Jesus Christ? (in fact opposed to that).
This timing does not much surprise me as I saw some signs related to day 1260 about a month ago.
I cannot of course guarantee that this will come to pass, it’s not my call. But it is my hope because this world needs a visit from the Boss.
