Leftism is ALL about control: of people, of property, of power.
Bezos and Zuckerberg are both leftists - and they want control of all the money for themselves.
With and without their declared aim for socialism, the Leftist dirtbags are indeed control freaks.
It's fun but not all that productive to demonize them. They are their own worst enemy. All we have to do is give leftists everything they ask for and our leftist problem self corrects. Fortunately most leftists are highly concentrated in cities so this is possible. The relatively recent technology of high rise steel and concrete cities had it's run but now is declining in economic importance. We can let leftism self-destruct and die off as a failed experiment and not even notice.

They are the ones who promote socialism by running for office and voting for socialism as legislators but there are far too many who vote for it in elections because they think they are “cool” and super smart when, in reality, they are simply too lazy to think things through. To anyone who will listen with an open mind I can explain in five minutes or less why socialism can in practice result only in misery of the worst sort. The same goes for unlimited democracy which results in the same misery.
