U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) does not plan to send migrant families to Florida after reports about a Trump administration proposal resulted in backlash from local and state officials this week.
A CBP official told The Hill on Saturday that the administration is not looking at transporting family units to Florida "at this time" but said officials were looking at housing migrants in other areas across the country.
It was reported earlier this week that the administration planned to send hundreds of migrant families to Broward and Palm Beach counties, two Democratic strongholds in Florida that are among the state's most populous areas.

I have the problem solved...easily. Send every illegal alien to only three states...California, Oregon & Washington...period!!! Case closed!!!

I’m guessing Trump just said that just to get these Democrats on record getting wound up over immigrants in their neighborhoods.

I hope this is fake news, but it seems like we always flinch. Continuing to back down on the border is dereliction of duties. How about send them home, instead? 10,000 a month getting taken care of instead of your kids.

I agree. Don’t bring even it up unless one is already resolved to do it regardless of ‘backlash’. Now, any tin-pot Mayor is confident that he can Huff & Puff and blow the White House plans down very easily.
Here’s an idea. Send them all back to the rat infested dumps they came from. Their failure to build a modern civilized society back home is their problem, not ours.

Hmm- weird- during obama’s term, he important many 1000’s of somalians into cities all across American and none of them made a stink about it- but now that trump is president, they won’t accept similar?
