Pennsylvanians were royally screwed by the SALT Deduction cap.

I’d like to call it unintended consequences...

...I prefer to call it “payback.”

Philadelphia and Harrisburg. Swamp North.

In Philadelphia and suburbs, if your mother was standing near Trump and her clothes caught fire, the bucket of water would go on Trump. They are that consumed by TDS.

“Pennsylvanians were royally screwed by the SALT Deduction cap.” - lightman

“...what should you expect?

In Pennsylvania, 63 percent of residents will see their taxes go down, and the average tax cut will be $2,180, according to the Tax Policy Center. That’s just below the national average of $2,200....”

The Tax Policy Center expected only 5.1% of Pennsylvanians would see an increase in their taxes.

I suspect that is overstated. Changes to the AMT helped a lot of the people who got dinged on SALT. I wonder how many of the people complaining about SALT deductions actually ended up paying more than they did before the tax cuts?
