A high-level dispute over which senior government officials pushed the unverified Steele dossier amid efforts to surveil the Trump campaign has broken out into the open again, after it emerged that Attorney General William Barr appointed a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if the FBI and DOJ's actions were "lawful and appropriate."

The Left is trying to change the story.
They are going to throw Comey to the wolves and make sure the investigation dies with that.
The GOP-e gets a scalp and saves their Senators.
The DNC gets off free.
Clintons go free to retire.
Trump is holding the bag.
This is not for sure what is going to happen but what the Swamp wants.

Bottom line: One of these lowlifes will have to talk to prevent that cover up scenario. Have a hunch that Comey or Brennan have very incriminating tapes they are saving as their get out of jail free cards.
That would be SWEET if they let it drip out S L O W L Y, so we can savor every delicious tidbit!
Comey is such a weasel I have no doubt that he has secret recordings of Brennan giving orders and will use them if necessary.
Convicting all of these top-level intelligence and DOJ officials will be a heavy lift. Even for this hot-shot prosecutor Dunham.
It does look like they are trying to change the facts of the storyline and appear to be pushing Comey out front to take the fall.
None of us knows what is actually going to happen but I agree with you that a bunch of these traitors will probably escape punishment through legal means.
It's easy enough to declare everybody traitors and guilty of the crimes they may end up being charged with.
But it is a whole other story completely to actually convict them and jail them.
Real life intervenes.
It was fun watching Rosenstein turn on Comey - and then partially walk it back. This is only gonna get worse (better!) as it unfolds.
